Best 3rd item on Annie after RoA & Rylais

Assuming you bought RoA and Rylai's first what is the best third item? Excluding boots please.

Deathcap, Void Staff, Ludens all seem like good items and the list just continues from there. Even Lich bane or Gnashors arent that bad if you want sustained dps and turret damage. So I just can't decide.

Also, because I think Death Cap and Void Staff are probably the two best choices I was wondering how I could calculate at which MR void staff becomes more efficent to buy then Death Cap.

If you're going to run a build like that, its likely you'll want a 30% CDR page to use with it as well.

As for your next item, it depends. If they have low MR overall, Abyssal is HUGE bump in damage AND survivability.

If they have MR, void. I nearly always get my pen item 3rd as AP, as any counter-building against you will shut you down if you don't.

Abyssal+Void keeps your damage relevant all game no matter what. If teams are tankier, I'd suggest Boots of Lucidity. If they're squishier, I'd suggest Sorc Shoes.

I reaaaaally don't like Rylai's on Annie.

I'd go for Luden's instead of Rylai's and the third item Morello (or Void, if necessary).

Edit: I completely forgot about Abyssal, it's normally my second item on Annie.

You're better off getting your CDR from runes. You can't keep your burst relevant enough unless you have a HUGE lead with Morello's.

I normally build Annie like this: Abyssal, Luden's, Morello. + Boots

I don't like RoA on her either, though it's a fair pick.

I never had problems with my burst.

If you get a lead early, full damage is your best bet. If you don't, or their team is going to end up pretty tanky, going semi-tanky is your best bet, ESPECIALLY if they have bursty engage/poke champs.

Depending on your rune-page (CDR) it can even be efficient to grab a tear if you go RoA, as it can lead to HUGE AP late game if you know the game will drag out based on comp and you know you can't be forced out of lane. Annie can stack it quite fast in lane and the seraph's shield is amazing with her E, but its still extremely (extra emphasis here) situational. The biggest issue is trading early strength for late, which can leave Annie feeling like less of an impact mid-game. Make sure your comp fits this strategy and can cover this weakness well.

I just really, really don't like Morello's or Athenes unless its necessary. Late game your damage feels lackluster with them as opposed to without them, especially as someone whose mana-pool far exceeds how quickly they decide the team-fight, like Annie. You can get all your CDR from runes. Getting all the damage you can because of that works far better.

THe problem with abysal first is it's not as strong vs AD assassins, in which case RoA is definitely a better first item.

Rylai's is good. I feel like abyssall normally is bought instead because it's keeps you from being instantly bursted at a much cheaper price but cost aside Rylais is a better item IMO.

Not sure I'm feeling Rylai's on Annie. At best, you'd want RoA for a bit more mana to play around with and a bit more tankiness. Beyond that, you're not really trying to play utility carry by slowing them. If you're in range to drop spells on them, they should be dead.
