How to counter ziggs bot lane
I am a support main and am seeing ziggs bot Lane every other game, spend my whole laning phase sitting ounder tower while my ADC rants about ziggs bot being OP. As support, how do I counter it?

Masteries- Blues - Cooldowns Yellows - Armor Quints- Ability power Red- Magic Pen.
Strategy Stay out of range lintel E is up and spam when ever possible the bounce poke at lower levels is amazing against a Zigs and support bottom.
Once 6 do the following for a great chance at kills
Start with (R) in the Bush Make sure you are way back in the back bush yes you wont be able to (R) right on top of them but thats what you want for Zigs and his support to (Feel) safe.
Flash instantly after that and (Q) on Zigs follow with a E
now he is in your ult silenced and feared.
ADC finish
Rince and repeat
Keep in mind while you spam your e he is taking dmg and you are silencing him.
Works in low elo Bronze/Silver. Has not been tested in Skilled Tiers of play :)

For me personally I just use 
because I main shen and feel comfortable in the matchup.
I haven't seen Ziggs in any of my games. (Though I mostly play ARAM or LotPK)
But watching the streams, I kinda feel like yes, he can snowball due to his tower taking, but I also feel like he's too reliant on that snowball. Like, if he doesn't get that lead, his poke will just fall to the greater DPS of a good ADC.
My advice then would be a lane bully. Perhaps Zyra or Brand. Alternatively, a sustain support might help you withstand Zigg's poke. (Sona could give you both poke and sustain)

first, he has no lifesteal/spellvamp, you can bully him out of lane quite easily, the problem with this is if their support is

Play hard engage supports. As a Ziggs bot main, those are by far the worst to play against. If you can land your hooks, Ziggs is dead. It also forces the Ziggs to play more defensively. As an ADC, pick champs with high poke or mobility like Varus, Caitlyn, Lucian or Kalista. You can also use Sivir as her shield can save you from a lot of Ziggs' Q poke damage. Hope this helps!
Bot lane Ziggs is all about his wave clear. Early levels, it kinda sucks though and he'll run oom if he's trying to push really hard. You either need to match his push, or somehow force him to use his wave clear elsewhere.
I think my lane was Karma Vayne vs Brand Ziggs. I basically just stood off to the side as Karma and continually harassed them, forcing them to use their abilities to harass me, which meant they weren't using them to push the minions or using them on my ADC. This gave Vayne time to actually clear the wave at the same rate as the Ziggs. Granted, this means you have to either dodge skill shots well or have some way to out heal them.
The other lane I had was Brand Lucian vs Zyra Ziggs. For this one, I spent most of my time poking and trying to get a stun off for Lucian to combo with.
As a support, you need to know your ADC's weakness and what support either covers those up or enhances their strengths. Vayne has low wave clear, no poke, horribly suffers against AOE damage, and has a horrible lane phase normally, but has decent mobility. Lucian has ok waveclear and poke (tied to same spell unfortunately), but good mobility.
So yeah, Blitzcrank is great for picking off the immobile Ziggs, he offers no waveclear outside of his ult, so if you miss your hook as Blitzcrank, you don't offer anything to counter their push outside of maybe Relic stacks. So picking Blitzcrank with a Vayne may sound like a good idea, but since both suffer from waveclearing, it's probably not ideal. Thresh is similar, but can still just run at the enemy team and then lantern his ADC to him and flay, so he isn't so reliant on hitting his hook. Additionally, Thresh can flay the wave to help waveclear, not amazingly, but still better than a Blitzcrank could. If you have a Caitlyn though, you could pick a Blitzcrank since she can generally handle the waveclear on her own.
