Fiora's Riposite needs to parry Yasuo's Tornado Q

I am a fan of both Yasuo and Fiora and today I played a game where I played Fiora top and there was an enemy Yasuo mid. Yasuo roamed up while my laning opponent was away and we were both 6 but my ulti and flash were down so I fought him. He had his Tornado Q up and I thought that I could not get knocked up using riposite. Yasuo's Q is in all respects treated as an auto attack I don't see why his tornado Q doesn't react in the same way because as a player I feel I should be rewarded for using a well timed riposite against a Tornado Yasuo Q. Granted, I later got a kill chasing yasuo using riposite when he used a normal Q against me and the damage killed him, but I still feel like his tornado should be no different. I know a lot of people will see this and be like "omg stop complaining" but I honestly feel like if Yasuo's Q is treated by all rights as a skillshot auto attack his Tornado should be no different and should interact with Fiora's Riposite either with both types of his Q (tornado and normal) or not at all because it's just inconsistent and I feel it should be changed.

I thought it did as well?.... If I'm mistaken I'll get off my little soap box and go about my day

Valkyrie is wrong.

It counts as an auto and applies on-hit effects as per normal (this is why it crits in the first place). If you block Q3 with Riposte, the damage should be negated but not the knockup effect. This is consistent with Garen Q where silence applies but not the damage.

Ok dude, I deleted my comments because I thought "This guy wouldn't argue his point if he didn't know what he was talking about, I'm not a Yasuo pro so I guess I'm wrong".

Then I went and created a custom 1v0 match and went and farmed up item 3044 , item 3022 , item 3077 , and item 3087, and hit minions with just my tornado.

Not a single one of them procced from the tornado. You ARE wrong. The tornado might be able to crit, but it cannot apply on-hit effects as an autoattack, unlike the close range slice from Steel Tempest itself.

I regret deleting my comments merely because of the downvotes and opposition.

yea I just looked it up "steel tempest can critically strike and apply on hit effects for the first 475 units IE standing next to him as I was...

I'm fairly certain his third Q is coded as a Janna Tornado that deals physical damage.

Changing it to "block" this but not effect anything else would be an insane hassle, and likely crop up two dozen bugs on Fiora, Yasuo, and Janna.
