Upgrading active items switch change position in inventory

I was playing a match as ADC and I had a QSS . I put it at no.2 on the keyboard and later upgraded it to Mercurial Scimitar . The upgrade however moved the item to 1 on the keyboard and I was unaware of it.

I think the active items should not move in the inventory after the upgrade. It would be a nice feature to have for people like me.

It does the same thing with sightstone when you upgrade it into one of the Eye items. Kinda annoying if you forget (since I dont go the eye path everytime) and you try to put down a combat ward and you cant cuz it is in a different slot
