ok so why did i go on a 10 win streak and now i cant win a game i don't understand how team balancing works buts it must be bs [zombie-brand-mindblown] can anyone explain how the balancing works and when I'm gonna win a damn game
Luxana Crowngard1 votesThe more wins you achieve the higher your MMR gets, You do end up getting into games with "stronger" players in your games.
However the more you lose the more your losses are in MMR. I'd suggest playing a normal game every now and then to balance out your loss streak in Ranked and when you pick back up your momentum you can go back to ranked.
This is ideal however, with win streaks it becomes more 50/50 that you'll end up winning because you'll be paired with others that are also on win streaks and they all have momentum going for them as well. Granted this is not 100% of the time, it does happen often though.
Subdue1 votesOkay, I am going to assume that Soraka Main BTW is talking about mental momentum, in which case he's correct. Tilt loses games. Don't play when you're tilted.
That said, streaks have no effect at all on who you're matched with. If you're on a win streak, that doesn't mean everyone you're with is on a win streak. It means you're with people of a similar MMR. That could be several people who are on win streaks coming from your level, but it could also be someone who's just won one, lost one, or even someone who was from a higher MMR on a losing streak.
