Coming back to LoL

So, I've stopped playing League of Legends around 5 months ago, and now the game has changed so much. My account was Gold last season, but before leaving I played recklessly and got put into Silver. I now want to start playing the game again, but I don't know how exactly I should approach it. Should I just play a bunch of bot matches? Play normal matches? Go straight back into competitive? Or even go as far as to make a completely new account and start from scratch? Any idea(s) are greatly appreciated :)

Just play. Don't set big expectations. Just start getting yourself into the feel of being a league player again. You don't have to be good. Just try to win every match one at a time.

I would probably play a couple bots matches to get your bearings, then head into normals for a while.

Probably play a couple of bot matches to make sure you can still land skillshots, then normals till you feel you're good again.

Also read up on the latest changes to the jungle, regardless of what position you play. In 5 months you probably missed Sated Devourer, Runeglaive and maybe Cinderhulk coming out.
