Instructions for your Teemo

WTF TEEM0·11/7/2014, 5:39:16 PM·24 votes·16,818 views

Greetings!

If you are reading this, we have most likely had the displeasure/pleasure of being paired together and I've given you this URL during champ select. I wanted to give you a basic introduction and something to read while the game loads. Here are some simple facts to help us get along better:

1. I will try to win! Contrary to popular belief, I will try my best to get enemy inhib and destroy it. But if I have to choose between having a fun game or winning? Fun game is better any day. I also have zero ego, so I am fine knowing I'm a bronze level player. I don't feel the urge to strive for Gold, I've been successful in other facets of my life, a video game doesn't need to be one of them. So even losing games, I tend to have more fun based on criteria that is important to me.

**2. I'm going AD, not AP. ** Yes I know AP is more effective/uber/supreme. I don't care. I have developed and tweaked this build for over 2000 games and it's perfect. Doing lots of damage was fun for a bit, but I'm over it now. Movement and attack speed runes are my favorite. I'm super fast with almost 600 movement speed and maxed attack speed (I think 2.41) depending on the fine tune of my build. Plus I really enjoy the late game sustain lifesteal provides. If I can get away with even one health, a very short time in the jungle will have me right back up to full. Applying constant pressure and tying up 2 or 3 champs is better than outright killing one. Plus my build is not even slightly scary, so people are more inclined to pursue me and track me down. Again more fun. the 2 main problems with AP are sustain and movement speed. there aren't a lot of AP + movement speed items and spell vamp sucks on teemo, since his only reliable resource is the blinding dart. At the end of the game, I don't even care how many opponents I killed, only # of towers, minions CS, and total money earned. Nothing else even matters to me.

**3. If you banned Teemo to purposely stump me, congratulations, you did. ** I can only play Blitz and Heimer, but neither are effective to any degree. If you thought my Teemo sucked, wait till you see my other chars! I'm currently 1/9 win rate with blitz. My lolstats are here : http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/21458144 I suspect people ban Teemo to get me to dodge? They don't seem to understand my record means nothing to me, I guess. Or perhaps they are being vindictive by shooting themselves in the foot. It's a mystery but happens quite often. (Edit:) most recently I've been trying Hecarim split pushing, it fails nearly every game, but it's still pretty fun. With the Blitz nerf where he gets slow after a bust of speed I don't play him much anymore. And I win entirely too many games with Heimer, but find I don't really enjoy winning a game where my own team sabotaged me from enjoying it, so I don't play him much either anymore.

4. I'm going to mute everyone. At first it was cute hearing the "kill yourself, hope you get aids and die" comments, but after 500 games of unimaginative slurs, it pretty much gets old. And I'm not gonna lie, the constant negativity people express every game, really gets to me after like 7 or 8 games. Let's face it, people on the internet are douchebags. I just don't want to deal with them anymore. Then we have people inable too uewse proper grammerrr, it drives me insayne. The lack of intelligence also offends me. I used to try and explain myself or defend myself or explain my stance, but it turns out I don't really care that much anymore. No discussion ever leads to anything positive. I simply don't care to communicate with the extreme hostility that exists in this game. I'll ping and that's it.

5. If the enemy I'm matched up has a stun or nice lunge, I'm going to feed A LOT. Pantheon/Ryze/Renekton/Fizz/Trist/, etc. Don't worry or panic! Even if I go 0/14 I'm still effective late game if I can farm some minions. That being said, I get shutdown often and completely, my apologies. The new Nidalie with her super jump also destroys me. Plus we now have a super fed enemy combatant, which is a serious problem sometimes, like against a Lee Sin, Yasuo, or Akalie. It should be noted I do well against chars you wouldn't think. Lux for instance, her stun is slow and pretty easy for me to avoid, Gragas barrels, Yorick I can farm his ghosts, Blitzcrank grabs, swains stun, etc. As opposed to a panth spear I can't dodge, or a Ryze stun, it ruins me quick. A special shout out to Fiora, who can lunge and ult me for an instant kill any time she wishes. Those 2 combos do more damage than I have health. Oh and cannot be dodged. Lethal.

**6. I probably won't be at many team fights. ** Pushing is always preferred. I'm super squishy and can hardly beat one person, let alone 3,4, or 5. Plus Teemo has a global taunt, so I'm the first guy they are going after. It's very common for my team to be pushing the mid while I'm pushing top. They get 4v5'd, destroyed, and then complain I don't come back to mid to 1v4 the enemy team. I've never understood how if the whole team got wrecked, a squishy teemo is going to come in and save the day. But expect this from my gameplay style.

**7. Please please please take all kills and CS. ** I don't mind. I need 15,000 gold to complete my build and typically achieve this between 36-39 minutes (210 minions + dragon + avarice +turrets + assists). Then I can buy potions but pretty much nothing else. All that extra gold goes to waste. Also if I get a kill it resets my death gold, I would prefer to be worth nothing and give the enemy as little money as possible. Once I get to 0/7, I'm usually not even worth killing, so I tend to get ignored by whoever is owning me. They even travel to another lane and try to gank. It's a critical mistake and they are about lose a couple turrets, they just don't know it yet. But if a have a couple kills, I'm usually perceived as a threat and my global Teemo taunt remains activated. (Edit: My current build needs 17k since I try for Triforce now, but position remains the same, just a slight tweak) ** 8. Keep in mind my schrooms have an AE slow even though they don't do much damage and are decent wards. ** I've seen many running from an enemy, if they were to only alter their trajectory slightly and hit the schroom, it would slow and allow them to escape certain death. Conversely, I've seen partners afraid to push, even when I had every possible avenue warded. Be sure to use the tools the Captain gives you.

**9. Fun fact update. ** I've been reported for "negativity" and "verbal abuse" so many times after posting this URL before games, that I'm currently on chat restriction for 11 games. Before that it was 49 games, then before that it was 25 games, then after that it was 30 games. It's funny to me that a Teemo who doesn't type is now banned from chatting. Shouldn't affect my gameplay style but cracks me up! It is a bummer though, because I do like to compliment the other team on a great gank, or when the jungler pulls of a nice move. But all chat is restricted so I can't say jack. Other than that, could care less I guess. (Edit: Since this post 7 months ago, my chat restrict has now reached almost 600 games, there is a screenshot posted of it below, amazing)

10. Spamming the other team to get me reported won't work. Breaking the meta isn't a bannable offense. And trust me, the other team understands my tactics much better than you do, and feels the pressure I command on them. I can't be forced to conform to your standards and follow your rules. Better ragers than you have tried, and banning me hasn't worked in 3000 games, and it won't work with yours. Just learn to enjoy your game and quit being so negative, you'll get further in life not being such a downer.

Now for the Q&A section.

Q: Why do you take smite during champ select, then swap it at the last second? You tricked me! A: I think smite is a huge waste of time, except for like a WW, Yi, or Hec who can solo objectives. but mostly it's a crutch that serves no useful purpose. And once I get Hurricane, I'll take all the jungle minions anyways. So I try to "force" a 2 lane top/mid combo. Although I never call a lane or really care either way. I've found going solo lane, I'm no match for the enemy champ and feed too much early on. So being paired with another helps out a lot. I try not to take any farm and keep the enemy positioned so they don't get ahead XP wise. Then about 16 mins in I can start hardcore roaming and pushing lanes. It does fail pretty often. Half the time we can bully them out of lane. About 20% of the time, the enemy can withstand us, like a Xerath, Nasus, or Ziggs who can just farm under turret. About 10% of the time, my companion will rage quit, leave lane or try to do jungle without smite, lol. And sometimes they have a very good jungler who can perform a flawless gank and get both of us. But the majority of the time it works perfectly. Most people with open minds quickly understand the advantage of a 2v1 lane. There are some exceptions as noted.

**Q: Why do you sneak this link in after everyone has picked their chars? Why not do it right off, so I have a better chance to avoid you? A: **During dodges, players on my team frequently end up on the other team next roundup. If the other team knows they can ban Teemo and give our team an instant loss, that's a pretty huge thing. I try to avoid this from happening.

Q: Why don't you talk at all during champ select?

A: Simply put, no need. I only play Teemo one way, unless I'm forced to do something else. And I like to set the expectation that I won't be chatting or interacting with the constant arguments that infest this game. I don't even watch champ select or even care. I'll go Teemo any lane and perform to the best of my limited ability. That's it.

**Q: Please don't mute me, I'm not going to rage at you like that top lane guy. And I would prefer to be able to convey very important information to you later on in the game.

A:** Apologies, you have already been muted. I find the people who ask me not to mute them end up being the worst ragers later on. making exceptions to my rules, I almost always regret it later on.

Q: What are your general plans? A: I like to scout out blue, then try to gank mid. Then I go to my assigned lane and try to farm Hurricane. Look for any opportunity to hit turrets, even a couple taps is good. Then push push push and try to avoid ganks. After hurricane, I either get lifesteal for sustain or Avarice blade to enhance my farm. Then upgrade my speed to escape ganks, or attack speed to enhance pushing. I nearly always end up with the same exact build, just approach it different ways depending on the circumstances.

Q: What characters do you end up feeding the most? A: Oh hands down, it's Panth, Malph, Yi, GP, Fizz, Akalie, Yasuo, Jarv, Ahri, Fiora, Riven, Kayle, Talon, Urgot, or Syndra. 2nd only to those would be when I'm forced to go bot against any ADC. Their supreme range just picks me apart, I have to go back too often, get behind and start snowball feeding. I should also note Ryze and Nidalie, they don't usually kill me outright, but can bully me so hard out of the lane it's ridiculous.

Q: Why did you say "No lane required, roaming" during champ select. A: This is to give you a heads up that I'm not a serious player and using unorthodox tactics. Also I can go into any lane and don't have a preference. My favorite games are when we don't have a jungle and can push 2 top or mid, like against a Nasus, Fiora, GP, Fizz, Tryn, Kat, or anyone who doesn't have a strong early wave clear. They will lose a tower or I can prevent them from getting exp or CS with my stealth poking. This then forces their jungle to babysit and causes lots of problems for the enemy team. However, I play how I want and if someone on our team wants to jungle, I'm fine with that as well. Whatever they find most enjoyable. So saying this at champ select let's them dodge, or make other plans, not expect me to be an AP Teemo top doing normal Teemo stuff.

Q: What's your least favorite position? A: For sure support. The ADC and I fight for CS, their ADC pokes the **** outta me. I've even noticed our ADC just give up and start feeding or rage quit a couple times. They have such a sense of entitlement their little brains can't handle it. They short circuit.

Q: Why do you do this? A: It's slow at work pretty often, I play to pass the time.

Q: Why not go AP? A: This build is more fun than any other build I've tried. Even losing a game, I'll have some great chases through the forest from a team of 5 chars that can kill me in one hit. I'll escape and survive!... Or I won't... But the chase is quite the thrill and the best part of the game.

Q: Why rush hurricane, that thing sucks! A: One of my main disadvantages is range. Especially when I'm against a good "poker" type. Not sure the actual numbers, but it feels like hurricane gives a 30% increase in my attack range. That little extra range lets me farm more effectively and clear faster. It makes a huge difference in how close I have to get to the enemy. This is more important than any single item in the game for me.

**Q: Why did you have to be on my team I'm taking this game very serious. A: **Apologies, I just play to have fun, and winning isn't as important as having fun.

Q: But to me winning is everything, you're ruining my fun by not doing a professional build like the pros do. A: I believe that ELO will balance my skill level with this build to others of similar skill level. So if I play worse it will drop me down to a lower skill level then you and your "supreme" build will leave me in the dust. therefore we will not meet again. If however, our skill levels are the same, we shall play a lot of games together.

Q: Why don't you play normals, why ranked? A: Normals are too hard or too easy. Rarely a fair fight. I'm frequently matched with players who greatly exceed my skill level, or players who I greatly exceed. I've found with ranked I have more balanced games. This is much more enjoyable for me.

**Q: You have 500 ranked Teemo games, why do you suck so bad? A: **I don't know. If only you weren't on mute you could let me know.

Q: You have 600 Ranked Teemo games yet you are still Silver 3-5, damn you suck. A: I'm only out of bronze by sheer luck and the # of games played. Apologies that you and I have the same ELO. I can see you're a pro and I'm not.

Q: You have 1000 Teemo games, but your KDA is crap, you lose more games than you win, and any other analytic I can pull up on you is garbage. A: I also have a small penis. I mention this because you sound like a person who checks out other guys junk in the gym showers. You like to compare and feel better about yourself, extremely insecure . So by giving you this information, I have just made your day. You're welcome!

Q: Why do you play Teemo so much, why not another char? A: I used to be really into Poppy. I loved smashing a guy up against the wall and then bashing his face in, right under his turret, and finally walking away unscathed. Then I got bored of this game and went on to another. But one night (screwing around drunk) playing with some friends I discovered this build. And nothing beats the adrenaline rush of 5 people trying to chase you down and escaping that Teemo provides. Nothing. I might go a couple games without getting it, and getting shutdown horribly, but that is a small price to pay for the next game where my tactics perform flawlessly. That "rush" is the only excitement this game provides for me. Plus I play at work and if I boot up something like Space Engineers, the whole office will start playing with me and pretty soon the whole day has gone by and nothing has gotten done. So a quick 35-45 min game here and there is nice and a good reminder cause it actually ends.

Q: I was in a series and couldn't dodge you, I'm mad. A: Apologies, better luck on your next game.

Q: What are the most times people have dodged queue with you, in a row? A: 7

Q: What is your current feedback ratings? A: 166 Friendly, 101 Helpful, 701 Teamwork, 476 Honorable Opponent. Probably pushing 3000 total games played but not sure how to tell for certain.

Look man, I know that League is just a game and that the primary goal should be to have fun, and I'm glad that you found something to have fun with. But the way you have fun really is at the expense of other people, and it ruins the game for them. Let me preface this by saying I never rage at my teammates, no matter how bad they are doing (I will get pissed at people who are being super toxic and negative, but even then I don't tell them to kill themselves or anything, just tell them to shut up and play). That being said, I was queued up for a game with you today and after reading this, I decided it wasn't worth it and dodged. Reading this didn't make me feel any more receptive or any better about the way you play, and I want to explain to you why what you do is a detriment to everybody else who is trying to have fun just like you are.

Have you ever heard the phrase, "if you're smelling shit everywhere, maybe you should look under your shoe?" That's a good way to sum up your attitude toward this whole thing. I've played a lot of League games, in Bronze no less. I've met my fair share of ragers, but nine times out of ten the people on my team are generally positive or at least neutral (i.e. not saying anything). You seem to be encountering "ragers" in every other game you play. At that point, you really don't have the luxury of just laughing it off and saying "haha ragers, amirite?" Those people are probably people like me who just wanted to play a fun and fair game, and you are intentionally preventing that from happening. I know you're not doing it to be a troll and that you're just playing the way you like to play, but you are just blindly ignoring what everyone else is doing and more than likely costing them the game.

Maybe a better analogy would be this: imagine you're on a baseball team, not a major league team or really a competitive team in general, but nevertheless a team whose goal is to win alongside having fun. And the way you like to play baseball and have fun is to do cartwheels to the bases rather than running to them. Not something that's against the rules, and something that may actually work favorably from time to time, but the vast majority of the time it will just end up in you getting out rather than safe. Now suppose your teammates get angry at you: can you really blame them? Or are you just going to say "relax guys, it's just a game, just have fun"? People like winning, and winning is fun. You know that what you're doing is impeding your team's chances at winning, and the only person who's having fun is you.

If you like playing Teemo the way you do, that's fine. But for the love of God, PLEASE don't take it into ranked. I don't care if you feel like the matches aren't "fair enough" for you, ranked is where people go who are trying to climb the ladder and get better at the game. They're not getting mad at you for picking something that's off meta, they're getting mad at you because what you are doing is essentially making them waste their time for 20 minutes and then making them lose LP. If you want to play ranked, please at least have the decency to not be so absorbed about what you want to do. After all, this is a TEAM GAME, and you refuse to play with the team (something that's made a whole lot harder by the fact that you immediately mute everyone).

I've read your replies to other commenters here, and I know that this comment will not convince you to stop doing what you do. You will choose to remain blissfully ignorant and continue to ruin people's games. Fine. But if there's something I wish you would take from this comment, it would be to really consider what you're doing, and to ask yourself if you having a good time is worth making a whole lot of people frustrated. You seem like a nice guy, and I don't want you to stop having fun with League, but there are far more healthier ways to do that.

You seem like a really, really awkward person.

MEMEME67011/7/2014, 10:20:32 PM7 votes

You act like you just want to play to have fun (which makes sense), but then type things like "They have such a sense of entitlement their little brains can't handle it. They short circuit."

Which makes you seem like a thinly veiled troll.

1 4m 4 n00b11/7/2014, 6:51:10 PM5 votes

I get think post in all, but you are literally trolling and admitting to it. Play normals or don't play at all. I truly hope you are banned if you continue to torture bronze players that wish to go up in rank.

Tommymobot12/18/2014, 9:09:11 PM5 votes

So really, what you are doing is playing at the expense of those who really care about winning and want to devote their time to reach higher ranks. I understand that you don't have an ego and that you don't care about your rank or what other people say. If you are really looking for a fun game rather than winning, I would suggest you try out team builder. Yes, I understand that you are looking for a fair fight, but what is a fair fight when you don't fight at all (you mentioned you wont be in many teamfights. Also, in the game i played with you, you stuck to your lane and avoided people. In reality, the even challenge that you are looking for does not even effect you in your playstyle. Plus, team builder now has a system that will place you against people of your skill level, so you should get the same results that you do in ranked.

Ranked is taken seriously among all of the league of legends community, with the exception of people like you. Personally, It was really frustrating to see that I finally made my way to silver 2 after hard work, only to come into que with you. We lost the game and I was demoted back to silver 3. I'm not usually a person who gets mad at other people in this game, but rather disappointed that I'm not playing to the best of my abilities. When I'm unable to focus on what I should be doing and what the team should be doing, I am unable to learn and I cannot play the game the way it was intended. That is when I get frustrated.

I just wanted to say something since it looks like you're ignorant to the fact that people are frustrated with you and wish to work for their victory. I just really wanted you to experience who you are affecting. I would like to think of myself as the population of the community that doesn't rage. I don't get much recognition and I often have little impact on other players outside of the match I just played with them (Which seems to explain why people think that there are so many ragers out there. They forget about the people that carry, support them in a rough lane verbally, and those who provide tactical calls that save games). Normally, I would have blown this off, but since it looks like the only retaliation you receive is from the ragers, I felt that you should hear from the larger population that you are affecting.

Yes, I took the time to write this comment to you. Thank you for reading and please consider what I wrote.

One last question to ask... What is your Build :P NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF THE SCOUTS CODE!

Seriod12/18/2015, 1:08:12 AM4 votes

Woah, now that I am done with the game I played with you, I got to read this over completely. You're really serious, and I might want to duo with you too! :) I was complementing you the whole game, forgetting you muted us all, in fact, Lulu said some good things to you too. Sometimes, there are some good summoners out there, and I hope you read this. I do not like being muted, but you muted me anyway. It seems you and I can win a game, and me, not get mad at you, because you're sort of like a jungler, as you helped me quite a bit

  • Trundle / Seriod (ps, I was first pick, you were second) gg.
FizzItOut3/7/2015, 2:55:29 AM3 votes

Just played with this guy in ranked. He was doing nothing but sabotaging our team. When I made a post in GD about it RIOT removed the post (saying I violated some rules regarding not being allowed to demand players be banned in forums), apparently this type of play and player is protected by them. So it is literally ok to not communicate with your team or take them into consideration in your play. This player uses this url as a shield for his play in ranked and it works.

BrinklesD3/8/2015, 9:08:35 PM3 votes

I just played an Annie game with this guy, and he pushed more than anyone else, but still both teams were hating on him for being bad? I gotta say he's my favourite nad the best Teemo I've ever played with or will. GG little buddy, and good luck carrying on.

WTF TEEM04/6/2015, 11:27:07 PM3 votes

Finally we have conclusive proof!!!

The Devilstop3/13/2015, 1:12:13 AM3 votes

Respect to you for not caring about what other have to say, but one question. If you really are looking for fun, why not stick to normals? I understand Ranked has draft pick but you CAN draft pick with all the cool gadgets in a normals game. Not only that, but Normals is easily the most carefree part of the league community. Ranked is openly the most competitive part of league, and yet you continue to play those games? If it is really only a game to you, why not have a little empathy and prevent yourself from intentionally pissing off every person you play with.

Yes, you do piss everyone off. You piss off your teammates when you do good and piss of the enemy team when you do bad. Either way, you're trolling them.

Not only that, but you are completely violating Summoner's Code of Conduct by immediately muting everyone. The mute button is used to REACT to hateful speech, not to prevent it. I actually tried to reason with you and talk a quick strat when I was playing with you, but you wouldn't even pay mind to my pings. To make it even worse, you pushed up every lane (as you said you would) and instead of continuously pushing (like you said you would) you farmed up the lanes and then went to the jungle to farm some more. You don't even follow the rules you set for yourself.

Call yourself what you want, but being too stubborn to even try and maybe change your play-style a tad bit to win or at least do a more intelligent and less one-dimensional approach, makes you a troll.

Not following the meta is fine, but running teemo on a team where we needed a tank is simply screwing us over. Not designating a lane is fine, but not telling anyone what you're doing until the last second in champ select (which you do) makes it THAT much harder for people you're playing with to work around you. The meta is there to make people expect things, it's not a guideline. It's almost like the rules of war set back in the 1400s, which were set so that strategies could be made. To make matters even worse, do you expect everyone to have time to read this entire post before the game starts? In most cases, the players have no single idea what you're doing and end up trying to avoid you as long as possible to avoid losing xp and/or farm. The mindset of being above others and the classic "it's only a game" is kind of a douche-y thing to do, especially in a competitive environment such as ranked.

Trying to justify your stance in a way over-done post, posting the link at the last second (no matter the reasoning), and doing approx. nothing to create a strategy with your teammates, makes you a troll.

And finally, your empathy. You could care less what your teammates are experiencing with your play-style. You don't care about how close they are to promoting nor do you care if they are on tilt and would really just like a win. You play to amuse yourself, and only yourself. You're a self-centered entitled jerk, quite simply, and created this post because you couldn't bother to try and help others by para-phrasing what your unique strategy is. Matter of fact, just through your explanation of your stance, I would argue you're even a little autistic. Self-centered, doesn't like change, deduces logic through past examples without seeing if there's any real pattern (you defend your strategy because it's worked before, not really explaining whether or not you expect it to work). You think because it's a game and that you were randomly grouped with these people that you have no reason to even ask their opinion. You're simply persuaded you're invincible because you aren't breaking any rules (which I mean, you are, but whatever).

You don't care about people's reactions nor their opinions, and clearly relish when people rage to you. So, you're a troll.

In conclusion, fuck it all. Riot isn't going to ban you because they couldn't give a cup of two fucks about anyone under gold. You're a troll, whether or not you have personal justification for your actions. Us true scottsma- I mean gamers, know you are and we sit in glee in our mother's basements, neckbeards casting shadows over our expansive katana collections, knowing you have heard the truth and how we expect you to change your whole life to satisfy our opinions.

You won't, you're convinced your personal satisfaction outweighs any others misery. You have no so-called "ego", and therefore think that ruining a game for someone else doesn't effect you, which, I mean, it doesn't. It's just a really scummy thing to do. And to be honest, if I switched the game from LoL to something like a randomly created 6v6 basketball game, and you joined saying that you weren't going to shoot the ball or go for rebounds, the basketball league would be rather angry. It IS just a game, but everything in life that isn't eating, drinking and moving, is "just blank".

In case you were wondering, I was the only one in our game that bothered to read this link. I was scared as soon as we joined, but you seemed to pull your weight even though you were dumpstered by a zed. I still don't blame you for our loss, all-in-all, you nearly won us the game. However, I think if you had actually assisted in the few team fights that were near you, we could've picked zed and/or jinx off, and of course won. Along with that, if you had split pushed when I asked you to, or warded Baron when I asked you to, we might've been in a better position as well.

I didn't write this WAY over-written post out of anger, just to inform you that, no matter how good your intentions are, you are trolling everyone you play with. Your "I have other things in life more important so this game means nothing" mindset kinda of screws over people who DON'T have more important things.

So, I guess as a suggestion, Just switch to normals, or at least try to listen to your teammates once in a while.

TheFallenShaw11/8/2014, 12:07:27 AM3 votes

Couldn't finish reading it all but here's a question if you play just for fun then why bother writing such a long post? and whats your summoner name so players that wish to avoid you on their team can?

And... Silver 3. This will most likely be the height of my existence and it will all be downhill from here. I can sense my doom ahead....

I dont understand all the hate towards this guy. Just seems like a bunch of kiddies riding on the "lets hate teemo" bandwagon. Goo for you OP, hope to play against you soon.

Just played a game with WTF TEEMO. I agree with him. You should be allowed to deviate from the community imposed "meta" (which isn't even used correctly as a term 90% of the time). We had a really good game. Sona tried to troll. We wouldn't let her. Everyone was in the right mindset once we got going. The enemy team did not know how to deal with us, and they all fed.

There's a guy in the EUW named AG Instinct. I give a shot out to him. Anything can work if you really put yourself to it and aren't in a "semi-auto denial" kind of mentality.

As a fellow Teemo main (who rushes runaan's, because f*** you,) you are my hero. Keep trolling sir! I'd love to duo queue with you sometime ;)

LOVE this post. I actually can't tell if you are serious or leveling. That's rare. Upvote.

Tus12/10/2015, 9:51:15 PM2 votes

This is Tus, I just played on the same team with you as Blitz. I sent you a friend request, hope you accept. I play Teemo a lot as well, 400 games ranked in S4. Different stats but about the same win rate. Hope we can team up again, i can watch what you do more.

Maplecrest12/17/2015, 11:09:03 PM2 votes

Seven here. I was the Poppy Jungle you literally just played with. Shame about the loss, but you did pretty great. I really am sad to hear you get all these punishments for just playing the way you want to play. Good luck in future games and hopefully we'll play again.

I thought this would be interesting for the community. My account has been permanently banned. No warning, although I was on chat restrict so long I guess that could be considered a very fair warning. :) I just thought I would get like a 2 week ban or something to start off. I did petition it just to get clarification on what specifically I was banned for and got this interesting response.

Hello Summoner,

This suspension has nothing to do with playing Teemo, but how you treat other players and intention to grief them. You are bullying players in champ select by trying to force them into lanes or combos and refusing to participate or help when they ask for it. Meanwhile they have to be okay with your demands; basically holding everyone else hostage. If winning isn't important to you then why are you playing in ranked; your MMR will adjust just the same in normals for something challenging? Ultimately, this has nothing to do with you playing Teemo and not why you're being suspended, but your intent to bully and grief other players for your own satisfaction. You'll go 3/14/8 as Teemo while telling your team all trolling, all day. The rate at which the experience of other players in this community are being negatively impacted required this suspension. The account will not be restored for any reason.

Lighting your path,

Mogey Player Behavior and Game "All we have is somewhere to begin."

There are several flaws in this argument as I'm sure you can notice. But his main point is that this is a team game and I don't conform to team rules. I just do what i want and have fun. And perhaps there clearly is no place for me in this game. And I did get reported by some sort of rager nearly every single game. It was mostly "verbal abuse" even though I rarely typed anything at all. So the sheer amount of reports probably weighed heavily in his decision. So although I don't agree with it, it does make complete sense.

It's been a great time playing with you guys. I think I have played this game more than any others in my library. I would estimate I had 5000 games played since season 1 or 2, but not sure how to even find out stats on this. I tried starting a new account, but it's just not the same fun and will probably run out steam before it gets anywhere. Although everyone in lower levels runs "2 top no jungle" which is my very favorite setup.

Farewell and good luck!

I find it hilarious how people complain about you when ONE SINGLE PLAYER is not what will ruin their chance to climb. If they had a modicum of realism in their views, they'd see that the problem is never who they play with. It's not the massless form of roughly equivalently skilled players around them. It's not the whole group, nor a single one of them that has 3,000 games of Teemo. The onus is upon them to swim upwards through to higher MMR. Their duty, as one who wishes to overcome Bronze and ascend to higher tiers, is to remain consistently better than those around them. If they aren't better, their duty is to improve. It's up to them to take the pressure you create with your "ineffective" split pushing build and to destroy towers as the enemy team chases you. It's up to them to rally the team around Baron while you knock upon the doors to the base, calling its inhabitants down upon you. It's up to them to pick off enemy champions who are chasing you as they rush blindly through fields of mushrooms and an unwarded fog of war.

Or put bluntly, it's up to them to capitalize on how you play. I'll take your playing EVERY SINGLE DAY over the guys in Plat I play with that go 0/2 in lane then intentionally feed without CSing or pushing. Or who just AFK entirely because they lost lane and the jungler didn't come gank for them. Or who quit because our bot lane got double killed. It's honestly not THAT bad all the time, but some players basically begin to spite or "punish" the others on the team for their mistakes instead of at least attempting to win. That or they complain about it being a waste of time. If you don't have time for a full game of solo queue with all the throws it entails, you're not who I want on my team.

So thank you, WTF TEEM0, for being yourself and continuing to split push and draw aggro all game, regardless of your score. I added you so I can spectate your tactics once in a while, but if you don't want to accept that's reasonable.

Golagnar3/4/2015, 1:06:44 AM1 votes

HE FEEDS SO HARD idc what he builds, and he seems like a nice guy, but for the love of god he feed so hard

L Psy Kongroo1/3/2016, 6:21:33 AM1 votes

Tbh I think it's great you're trying new tactics and attempting to play the game differently from everyone else. However.............the way you write it's as if you don't give 2 fucks about the feelings of the other players in the game. League is, first and foremost, a team game. It's not meant to be played as if you're the only human player in it. So while I respect what you're trying to do, I think you should keep in mind that not everyone thinks the way you do about the game.

If you knowingly and deliberately ruin the gaming experience of your team mates through actions totally in your control, that is called trolling. Whether your intention was to cause distress or not, the fact is you clearly have no regard for your team's well-being. If you want to play the way you described, by all means do so, but I would recommend only doing it with people whom you know and have a good relationship with. To do otherwise would be extremely unsportsmanlike, not to mention it makes you an asshole. You may be having a good time, but the others on your team are likely getting their day ruined by your antics.

You might say "well I don't care, that's their problem". But if that's the attitude you're going to take, can you really be surprised when people tell you to kill yourself, etc.? If your goal is to break the meta and discover new ways to play, you need to set a good example and do so in a way that doesn't offend the rest of your team. You'd make a far better impression on the League community, and people might be more willing to accept your methods if the person using them wasn't such a douchebag about it.

EDIT: I got one for your Q&A section: For someone who claims to "play to pass the time at work", do you really think that staring at a grey screen for 3/4 of the game is fun? Given how many times you die, doesn't it get boring?

Nezukô11/13/2014, 7:50:33 AM1 votes
