Dominion Twisted Treeline needs an update

ARAM and Summoner's Rift got visual updates but Dominion and Twisted Treeline have been denied their fair share of love. Yes I know that there is a small community of players that actually play them but they are still a core part of league of legends. Maybe if Riot gave promoted it and updated it more player's would be willing to try these gamemode's if anyone agrees with me please share this and get the word out. Riot shouldn't forget about these gamemodes.

It's been the same story for years. Riot: "We're not going to expend resources supporting alternate maps until there's a sizable playerbase." Players: "We've got no reason to play alternate maps because Riot doesn't support them."

The vicious cycle's been referenced a number of times throughout the years. There's probably more, but these were the first ones that came to mind.

We also understand the perception of a vicious spiral here. Specifically, the less attention Riot pays to those maps, the less likely the audience is to grow, which means Riot is less likely to pay additional attention, and so on.

I certainly agree there's a bit of a chicken and egg situation with Dominion and TT, in terms of lack of support versus lack of popularity.

So fans feel neglected, which causes those games to get played even less, which makes it even harder to justify spending time on them (by which I mean those are resources we wouldn't be spending on new or improved features for SR), and so on.

Dominion should be a higher candidate than Twisted Treeline. Twisted Treeline gets its small share of updates and is not completely forgotten or neglected by Riot and is fine except for a few tweaks needed here and there. TT hasn't gotten and update since v5.11, but the changes on that patch were pretty massive and there are not too many heavy changes it needs either, unless the map were to be larger of course, to add in some new content.

I love TT with all my heart, but dominion needs more love. What they can do for both modes though, is to ''advertise'' them more for new players / accounts starting up. The game is based more around Summoner's Rift of course, but they should put some more effort in showing the other modes instead of just SR.
