Magic Resistance Options in Runes Compensation Suggestion:
Don't get me wrong here, I love mages. But I really hope this can be addressed.
Previously, it was fairly standard to either take 12 MR in runes or a combination of flat and scaling MR runes if you expect to be dealing with at least a moderate amount of magic damage from your opponents. Players do not have MR rune options if they do not specifically choose the Resolve tree as one of their two options, which is suboptimal for a large part of the roster.
I don't necessarily want to ask for +X MR to every champion in the game, because that would cause issues with anti-mages like Mundo, Galio, Kassadin, but I really hope that something is being considered to compensate for the loss of 12+ MR with the rework of AP items, as I haven't seen a mention of such. Seeing Orianna delay more AP, mana regen and CDR (finishing Morellomonicon) for Sorc Boots and Haunting Guise because that allows her to do true damage to ADCs feels really bad. We are also seeing Kog'maw and Varus dominate (in part due to strength of support items, yes), but also because they rush Rageblade and their enemies have reduced MR compared to previous seasons.
