In Solo when someone took your lane you were forced into a random position, now you can at least play a semi comfortable lane.

Find a champ you can play in both spots (Ezreal can Mid and ADC)

Don't Compare this to Team Builder because this didn't replace Team Builder. Team Builder was removed and this replaced Solo Q. So compare it to solo q.

This is better because you can find people with play styles you like and play with them.

Also if you really want a position get like 3-4 people its almost guaranteed you get the position you want

Just one thing I'd like to add - you don't need 3-4 people to queue with you to get the role you want you only need one friend. With only one you can each request your role and what the other one wants and switch if you get the opposite when picking.

So all of you who can only play one role go make a friend :D

Or, you can simply learn one more role in the game. It's not hard, and if you are specifically playing ranked, you shouldn't be trying to queue as a one-trick-pony. You arent at a high enough elo probably to be well known for the one-trick-pony role that you play. People need to stop complaining about everything Riot changes. They can't please everyone.
