Riot, the you're handling Kassadin as a champion shows how much favoritism goes on in your offices.

Not only in terms of balance but also in his "visual update," which at this point is really just a massive textural update with some better spell animations.

The thing that bothers me the most is how you are implying that his current appearance is core to Kassadin's image. So with all the time you had to fix Kassadin, his identity has become the bodybuilding, viking helmet man with shoulder pad who wears a dress? Why is he so muscular? Why does he wear a dress? and why does he have no feet? Even Karthus wears a robe and you can see his feet. Kass should have had the same effect so you could see his feet when he Riftwalks, or just walks. How does one riftwalk without feet? Seriously though, why is he wearing a dress?

I don't even play Kass. I've played this champion maybe a total of 5 times in the almost 3 years (played a custom game on PBE yesterday to check out his VU) I've been playing this game, but I can only imagine the disappointment in his half-assed visual update that Kass mains have been waiting for a long time. It's almost as if you guys decided internally to push this low quality visual update at the same time of his 250 range nerf on R. In the Patch Rundown, you guys just talk about how Sivir has clear weaknesses like Cait bullying her with her 150+ range. But reducing 250 range on a champion's core ability is okay? Lucian got compensated for his -50 or -25 range on his autos by being able to endlessly dash and chase with a 0 mana cost dash at max rank. Kassadin gets what, -120 mana when he's fully stacked his R but loses 250 range? I know I'm comparing ADCs to an anti-mage but how can you justify such a huge range nerf? Akali only go -100 on her ult and she can stick onto targets much easier than Kass while lifestealing/spellvamping AND without using any resources while also being a targeted dash.

This Kassadin visual update just screams: "Well, since he's not gonna get played much after these nerfs, we might as well push out this visual update that we spent minimal time on because we'd rather work on more important things. Check Kassadin off the list of completed and successful updates!"

This is me caring about a champion that I don't even play or like. The favoritism you guys show in your balance and priorities on VU is really bothersome. I'd rather you take more time to polish these old champions than pump them out quickly. Kassadin, even though hes been updated is nothing compared to the Tristana update. She got new lines, new interactions in her skills, new VOs, and a new splash that had about two months of editing because people didn't like the initial one. It's almost like you guys would rather delete a champ than fix it to today's standards. By doing these incomplete VUs, you're doing that.
