Normal draft pick unbalanced

I just queued to play a relaxing normal game just for fun. Everything seems to be going well until I start to see a pattern. All of my teammates are getting destroyed in their lanes. The game turned into a slaughter and pretty much sucked all the fun out of it. I asked myself why are we losing so horribly? So then I looked up our team's rank and the enemy's too.

Our team: Unranked Unranked Lvl 29 Plat Iv Plat V(me)

Enemy team: Diamond 1 Diamond V Plat 2 Gold Iv Gold V

How is this supposed to be fair in any means? I know you can't always get the exact same skill matchup but this is just ridiculous. I would actually que for a longer time than get absolutely destroyed and wait for 20 mins to surrender. We ended up losing that game 2-27. Seriously something needs to be done.
