Is Azir worth playing?

Hi I'm Dianimex. I have been trying to look for Mid lane champions to play as well as increasing my champion pool. I'm only level 25 as of right now and I main Zed. So I came across RedMercy's video "Best Mid Laners to One-Trick" and the number one champion is Azir. Now I have heard and done some research, seems like Azir is pretty hard to play as well as mastering, so now this is my question. Is he worth playing or not? I have no idea when he will be free, so I wonder if I should straight up buy him, or wait for a free champion rotation or none at all. I also tend to like champions that doesn't require as much mana if any at all, due to the fact that I sometimes run out of mana at critical moments.

So now, the grand question. Is Azir worth investing my time into, and do you have any other strong Mid laners with high burst damage that I can pick up.

azir is in a bad spot cuz of nerf after nerf and he is a highly complex mechanical champ and you have to really understand how to use his abilities with in the space of a team fight... i would look at simpler champs to learn mid

Azir is an amazingly powerful champion in the right hands. He'll take a long time to learn and even longer to master, but I would say he is worth it. However, for you being only level 25, I would focus on learning the general game mechanics before I focus on highly mechanical champions.

Also, Azir wasn't the number 1 on the list you linked. Taliyah was.
