is MMR still a thing?
just curious if MMR is still a system applied in game or not. If it is does it effect separately depending on if you play norms vs ranked, and does it work in conjuncture with ranked placements if it is used?

yes it still exists. normals MMR and ranked MMR are separate, and MMR determines the teammates your matched with. with a high enough MMR, it is possible to skip leagues if say, you pair with a diamond player, but your in silver (assuming your mmr is high enough)
