This games ranked system needs to be changed or else this game will be doomed

I used to be a diamond 1 player, and when I say used to be, I refer to this season. I would consistently get diamond 1 playing my favorite champion, riven, and would just stay there because it is where I belonged. But diamond elo has changed a lot, to the point where I truly believe players who are still master tier level are stuck in d5 because when it comes down to it, you cannot control what your teammates will say or do in the game. I got ranked restricted for finally giving in to how annoyed I was at the amount of trolls/people who give up at 5 min/intent feeders/toxic from champ select/etc, and raged at someone. I have dropped to diamond 5 this season and the highest I ever got was diamond 2 in the past couple of months. I would say I have had trolls in maybe around 25 of my last 30 ranked games played, and this is on any of my low diamond accounts. Players like Hashinshin and wingsofdeath are dropping in elo too, drastically, why is that? Because they cannot carry somebody who is not playing the game or sitting in the spawn screaming racist things at their feeder bot lane. Players are no longer able to carry like they deserve to, play as well as they deserve to, and win like they deserve too. I've had games where I would be winning MASSIVELY, but because mid lane didn't get blue buff they need to afk or just leave altogether. This needs to change riot. I am absolutely astounded that you have not addressed this issue as a whole and it is unbelieveable how much rage a player can have without even getting a warning.

I understand the frustration, LOL is a "Team Game", but soloQ is basically 5 random people put together pretending that you are a team. Being better than everyone else does not necessarily mean that you will win. Elo rating system was invented by Arpad Elo in 1960. It was created for competitive Chess, so 1v1 game, it was never intended for 5v5 game. I feel like there is difference between being good at game (decision-making/mechanics) and being good at SoloQ.

I know one part of your post is rubbish. Hashinshin is oscillating between master and d1, and wingsofdeathx said explicity on his stream that he doesn't feel like grinding and is going to play for fun instead of spamming a couple of high winrate champions. And what part of the ranked system is troubling you? The fact you play as part of a team? Because that bit has not changed since the game's inception. The chat restriction? There is not a single thing in your post which illustrates a problem Riot should resolve. You get trolls? That is what every silver thread on the old forums used to claim, and no one gave a damn about it. No reason to care about it now.

It's like the d5s of the past are all in mid d3 now. My buddy has been d1 since season 2 is stuck in d3 because of these kids.

I say the same thing, but I'm in bronze, so people call me a noob. While i may not be as good as you, the same problem affects me. Last season i finished s2. I was placed into b4, i can't get out. But, honestly, it is a parallel, right?

First, Paragraphs, use them.

Second, in my experience once you are near the elo you belong the game starts to feel like its luck and it gets frustrating, the problem is, its so hard to see the mistakes you are making. I am about plat 3-2 elo right now I was d5 last season and Im near my true elo right now.

I know I make mistakes, sometimes I shove too far up without warding and I die, my first instinct is usually to think about how their jungler did something while my jungler was farming and we didnt even make it count. But really it wasn't my teams fault that I died, if I just warded and gave up 2-3 cs my jungler would have gotten ahead in CS while their jungler wasted his time trying to gank me. Or even worse sometimes I ward, the ward sees them and I still get surprised because I didnt watch the map enough.

You are making mistakes too, just mute your team and play the game, for every game you've lost because a mid laner quit after not getting blue you have likely won a game for the same reason (assuming you dont just have terrible luck, since yes, there are outliers). Focus on the problems you can control. Should riot punish quiters and intentional feeders harder? Yeah probably. But until they do complaining on the forums doesnt help you get better or raise your elo.
