Ever since morganas VU, I’m been wondering if Ahri could receive the same treatment. Her kit is still fun to play. ( maybe not if you against a Ahri…) But her voice and model seem outdated, and no longer fit her and her lore. Some new voice lines and model update would make a lot of Ahri fans happy. While I know that many other champs are in a lot of need of a VU, cough Teemo, Ahri is still popular and would a nice gesture of Riot to give a VU to Ahri.

But the problem is that Veigar, Teemo, Sona, etc even being older than Ahri, look way better, and match the splash art. While Ahri....is just Ahri (talking about base model, skins are good)

She's not perfect, nor is she completely up to modern standards, but other champions, like Sona, Teemo, Veigar, and more, are in FAR FAR FAR worse states than she is.

Sona's model looks REALLY good compared to the others. She got a new modern model with her 2015 update after all. Her model's face looks very pretty so I wouldn't include Sona with the others you mentioned.
That being said, for Ahri I'd just love her model to be freshened up. Nothing drastic. Just give her a more modern model with a new rig so she can get new running/walking animations which were the problem they couldn't do just that in the first place because her rig was so old. Give her new tails that actually look soft and fluffy and more white would be nice. No more low quality blurry faces on her skins. I'm mostly talking about Classic, Dynasty, Foxfire, Midnight, Popstar and Arcade (I have no idea why Arcade's face is so...poor quality for a modern skin).
Honestly though they need to do this with a lot of champions. They should just start rolling out VUs to models of older champions they don't plan on giving massive VGUs to. And I don't mean drastic updates.
Oleandervine1 votesThe problem with Sona is not the model. They put new upholstery on a rotten chair. She moves like shit, and her animations age her a helluva lot more than her model looks. They should not have kept that spastic, twitchy animation package for Sona is they wanted us to even think she's modernized. That alone is reason enough for me to say she needs to go back to the drawing board. Plus, her VO is still horribly outdated.
You're asking for a full VU on Ahri, that's not a freshening up. Everything you described can ONLY be accomplished by a ground up visual update. It would take a massive amount of work for this to happen, as that part of the VGU is considerably more larger than the actual GU part. It took them like 6 months to do what you asked for Ezreal, so to claim it's just simple, small work is grossly understating what is involved in a VU.

I agree on Sona, need a VU, yordles are fine. But what I meant is, watch at splash art, you see a lusty sexy hotgirl. While in game it looks like a middle-aged woman was trying to cosplay her. Animations: I don't know, I see no problem with them, especially bcs I never see Ahris in my games

If we exclude laughs Ahri has 16 and Morg has 8.

vfx only do so much. The model is for both the most visually present aspect. The only one who'd really benefit a shit ton from vfx updates is xerath cuz i'm pretty sure he's a walking vfx.

Morgana's VU was just an arbitrary change because Riot wanted to update her and kayle at the same time. Pantheon is highest priority atm, and I know that there are other champs that could use the work more than ahri. However, Ahri is a pretty straightforward champ, and I know that a lot of people aren't too happy with her w, so it's possible that there will be an ezreal style VU for her sometime this year.

Sure, you could call it "body shaming" but some people need to hear the truth and the truth is that if you have a adequately functioning metabolism, you don't body build, you don't have much if any muscle etc and you're 400 pounds, even if you are very tall, you are not healthy and you're at serious risk of a heart attack, diabetes, heart disease and a myriad of other illnesses.
