Nasus stacks, please add a penalty.

Ok Nasus should not be able to build up an infinite number of stacks. Without any penalty for when he gets killed. Nasus and Veigar are two champions that can literally spend the game just, earning stacks. And after getting absolutely wrecked, they run away and far, and after they farm their suddenly able to 1 shot, a Tank. (Veigar would possibly have to combo to kill) but Nasus with enough stacks can 1 shot a person. at 20 minutes if he farms perfectly, and 3-4 if he's pressured. Most other champs either have a cap on how many stacks they can earn, or they lose them upon death, and while Veigar does also gain stacks from his passive, he doesn't gain life steal through it.

How about the "split push forever because you get kited and peeled in every team fight" penalty?

That would destroy these champions, like noone would play then anymore, You rarely see a nasus in high elo, veigar is probably played often due to buffs i dont think riot might think about nerfing anyone

Nasus is relatively weak at the moment due to several factors besides just items too.

Gameplay factors include the speed of games, which are faster, and the the fact that teamfights are becoming more important. Crowd control comps are also becoming more prevalent and tenacity is pretty crummy at the moment. As Lazarus mentioned a lot of items Nasus builds received nerfs and the frequency of items such as item 3116 and item 3022 being built are making it harder for him to group at all.

As a Nasus main, I have to play pretty hard (harder than my opposing top laner) to MAKE SURE I hit my power spike. My goals in laning phase are the following:

Avoid any early death Get stacks, but ALSO keep up in CS against my laner; Nasus can't deny early farm and zone like other champions Exert some type of map pressure with 1 TP play OR first tower blood

After laning, I tend to simply go where the towers are on the field. I probably group more than other Nasus players, but I hate grouping unless I am very strong.

Almost every top laner is better than Nasus in the early game, and with the current state of the game, almost every top laner is more revelant to successful gameplay than Nasus.

Nasus' kit is fine. The real problem is that several items he had a tendency to build were nerfed, and he receives very little reward for stacking well and being patience.

Riot can help Nasus in two ways: (1) Give him slight buffs or (2) Buff some tank items that he builds.

I think buffing tank items could be problematic for the overall game, and I think giving Nasus minor buffs will go along way with his useability and win rate.

Nope. Nasus can not have a penalty b/c he's already heavily penalized atm.

-90% of the champions have a better early game or a way to abuse him out of lane.

-Lowest defensive stats out of all the Juggernauts.

-0 mobility outside of ghost or flash and only one target CC, albeit it is strong but you can also buy QSS and it builds into an extremely strong anti tank item.

-All of his core items have been nerfed. IBG, FH, TF and SV.

-They gutted his wither range in season 3 and cut it's AS reduction in half.

-Is currently sitting under 48% win rate atm.

Sorry but your complaint is invalid. Also if you want penalties for infinite stack then lump in Bard, Thresh, Viegar, Sion and Kindred all of which have a massively easier time getting their stacks as well. Not going to spell each one out for you but go look it up if you don't believe me but all can either safely get theirs from range or have massive amounts of CC that allows them to get their stacks or both.

Well the game should be ended in 20-30 minutes... He's weakness early game balances him out, of course you need to play it correctly and be aggressive

Veigar has to build full magic pen/reduction/ignore in order to one shot a tank, even if he's got something like 20 kills.

Stop crying.

Being a Nasus main I can easily tell you the penalty. Before level 9, there's no champion you win against in lane. You might be able to get equal, but winning is never an option. Pre-6 any champion can all-in Nasus and win (Maybe not get a kill) because all Nasus can do is W and run. If you're against a Nasus, just push to trade always. Poke. If the Nasus can't get to the minions because you attack him whenever he does, he can't farm them up. His does however have quite a bit of sustain, so poke might not be the best idea. You need to engage proper, but if you do, you will win the trade.

I guess you are right but it still feels odd to classify him in that category b/c of the AP building. But the basics of my post still stand and I still feel that Nasus's early game if far worse than Morde's.

Idk about nasus, but as a former veigar main I can tell you that Veigar can't function properly if he can't oneshot someone with 800+ AP and he can't really 1v2 anyway, his ult does most of the work when killing someone.
