On Annie, from an Annie player.

Hi everyone! Well, I'm not really used to posting on the forums, but oh well, everything has a beginning.

I'm an Annie player, and yes, I know how weird it might sound, since most people think she's "no-brain" and "no-skill". And I must agree with that. I love playing her, right because it's easy and also kinda relaxing. And... maybe this isn't what Annie is supposed to be. Yes, she's supposed to be overpowered by nature, as she's been able to "tame" the terrible Tibbers and she has freaking fire magic. But still... In every single game in which I'm playing Annie, people complain that she's OP, that she has no counterplay and that she'd better get nerfed. To be honest, it saddens me to see that my favorite champ is treated like that, while I know too well that she is overpowered, although she's not mobile and squishy.

I saw the recent changes about Veigar's E stun and it made me think: "Woaw. Annie could certainly use such a nerf."

Basically, Annie's strongest points are her instant stun with Tibbers and her burst, we all know that. It is (was?) also the case with Veigar, whose stun was instant and, if placed correctly, could decide on one game's winners. Now, it takes some time (too long, imo, but well) and people CAN dodge it.

So, here's my point. Will (and should) Annie get a Veigar-like nerf (although it's not necessarily a nerf, but that's another matter, let's not talk about Veigar all again, please) ? I think she could use some 0.25 or 0.50s to her Tibber's summoning. There might be some kind of animation in which she throws her bear Tibbers in one direction, just like in the Twist of Fate cinematic. On one side, it'd make her more healthy, and it would look epic.

Well, at least, this is my honest opinion as an Annie player (yes I know it's weird, don't blame me). I know how frustrating it is to be stun-locked for 1.5s without even being able to dodge or even being warned, while Annie can Q W and kill you in an half second, before casting her Molten Shield and getting ready for a second stun, as long as she has a minimum CDR. She might be the most powerful champion in the League of Legends, as her written in her Lore, but still... I know everyone's crying about some champ being OP or whatever... I know I'm not a veteran player, I've been here for just two years, so I lack a lot of information and experience... But well, just felt like giving my opinion on this, and wanted to know what's the League community's opinion about my dear Dark Child.

EDIT: I know her ult has a 0.25s of summoning. Here, I'm talking about a 0.25s of "warning". A bit like: "Hey, here, Tibbers will appear and stun you all in 0.25s".

EDIT2: Annie has her weak points as well, which make her "not that overpowered", such as her squishy-ness and her mobility. Thanks everyone for giving your opinion. :)

TL;DR Should Annie get an Ultimate's delay, a bit like the recent Veigar's E changes ?

I do think it would be healthier for her R to have a delay. She should throw Tibbers like in the cinematic. Riot could compensate by increasing the range by a bit.

Her passive should also get the same kind of treatment as Master Yi's passive did. After getting her stun buff you would have to use it in a set time frame or it will reset. To compensate maybe give her health when used on minions instead of stunning.

Why do I think she needs these changes? Because her kit restricts the player. You HAVE TO use your ult ONLY when you have your passive up. You HAVE TO charge up your passive when going to lane. You HAVE TO save your passive instead of use it on minions to scare your opponent... If you aren't doing these things you are a bad Annie player.

Also when I played her the instant ult was kinda overwhelming and didn't really give me any satisfaction cause it was so easy to land.

Fun notes: Annie is the beginner level mage, SHE HAS TO BE EASY TO PLAY.

Her "OP" Skill IS her ultimate not a basic skill with 5 sec cd

Annie has Counter play, Gang up on her, WITHOUT bunching up.

Without her stun, She's as Squishy as a minion.

If she uses Flash w/Tibbers, Guess what, No Flash for 5 minutes.

If she has Zhonya's Plan for it, Dont use your Annie killing skills until you force her to use it.

its hard for me to say. i like the direction riot is going in with a bunch of champions, adding counterplay. i know they're upset with the design of some of their older champions because they lack it. not sure exactly what i would do with annie. she's not overpowered really, its just that her design is a bit frustrating.

The difference between her and viegar though is that it's annie's ULTIMATE. Missing it is a lot worse than missing veigars
