How long does it take to regain your Honor level?

So basically I was hit with a 14 day ban or suspension as you will which meant that my honor level was reset to 0 and then locked until I proved worthy again now I'm not a toxic player or have intentional fed in games but I was given the 14 day ban through a misunderstanding but I tried to see if I could resolve the issue with Riot and get unbanned however I could not come to an agree so I just accepted the ban and waited for it to be over and when that time came I had unlocked my Honor level within the first weeks but then time past and I was wondering why I had not gone up in Honor when I get consist Honors throughout most of my games and am not toxic to any players I am put with or against and I am still Honor Level 0 after almost 2 months of being unbanned. I have looked on other boards posts similar to this and some of them have got the same response from Riot but I would prefer to known whether or not I am close to moving up in Honor or not as it feels like I should be back at Honor 2 or 3 by now.

Update: I have now hit Honor level 1 after so long now it's time I get back my Honor Level 5.

I'm not entirely sure, but you may have to reduce your punishment tier all the way back to having a clean account. Here's a flowchart of how the punishment system works.

The main thing here is you need to consistently play games without getting legitimately reported. It may take you the majority of the coming season to start earning honor again, or you might be within a week or two of it, but so long as you keep playing without falling back on the behavior that lost you honor in the first place you WILL get your honor back.

But the thing is though I'm not toxic at all the and I know I could just be saying all of this but I know I am not toxic and so do the friends which I sometimes play with I earn two Honors in the majority of the games I play and sometimes I am the most honorable opponent on my team which is why I am a little confused as to why I haven't even gone up to Honor level 1.

Picture honor as a set of numbers. Your punishment put you into the negatives, so you're still working your way back to 0 right now. If you're truly not being toxic you'll get there, it simply takes time.

I mean I have no problem with it at the moment I'm just wondering cause 2 months seems like an awfully long time don't you think....

This flow chart doesn't make much since to me because I've reported someone for calling me a "Fucking ngger faggot" because I main support and the game was going bad. Everything I said before was just telling people to calm down, it's not as bad as they think it is and if we lose, it's not like this is the only game they ever get to play. After he called me that, I told him I'm just gonna mute and report him for that and did so. I ended up with a 34 game chat restriction and never got notification that he got anything. I don't understand it and it fucked up my honor even though I'm generally the oppisite of a toxic player, trying to just make the game fun by being silly or trying to take people off of looking on the bad side. The worst I get is telling people to stop being a baby, cause sometimes they really are acting like an entitled child but that's mostly when losing is their fault and then want to lash out on other players.

The notification that tells you if he got a punishment is very unreliable.

If you have the chat logs make a new thread in the Player Behavior section and see if anyone can figure out why you got a punishment for your logs. If it was a mistake you might be able to get the punishment overturned.

I've tried stuff like that before and all the happens is I get swarmed by down votes and people telling me that I deserve it cause of my "clearly toxic behaviour" even though one of my posts was even how I said nothing and got chat restictions. I got such a huge wave of toxicity towards me that the post was deleted and my chat restriction never overturned. I just had to play through it and through honor level 0 which was so incredibly annoying.

Making a post like that has nothing to do with overturning a punishment. The only thing it can do is help you understand what Riot views as toxic behavior. I haven't been around here much, and I and others try to be helpful where we can, but there are a lot of "you deserve it" folks too. If you spend some time around the Boards you'll quickly figure out which people are capable of critical thinking and which ones are not.

Punishments are only overturned if given by mistake. In your case, whether you viewed your own actions as toxic or not, Riot did and so the punishment was not made in mistake. You can request a punishment review in a support ticket, but that is unlikely to change much, particularly if you've only got a chat restriction.

If you don't mind me asking how was your post deleted? The moderators have a fairly strict set of rules to go by on this sort of thing, and only delete posts if the post is blatantly breaking the rules. With what you described it would be more likely they would lock the thread to stop the toxicity, rather than delete it entirely.

I can see it in my boards post but clicking it brings me to an error message and looking through it on the boards on my account or a different one shows nothing where it should've been.

Seems like it's been about 2 months since you received a 2-week (Nov-14). I think you should have progressed at least 2 honor levels by then, but I'm not 100% sure. If you're still at honor 0, then you're likely exhibiting mildly toxic behavior. Not bad enough to get you punished, but it is enough to be considered negative. At the least, you want to have non-negative games in order to progress through honor.

Thats what I mean it feels like I should have progressed a little bit even if it was to Honor level 1.

Well fear not, according to the patch notes, you'll get a little indicator that tells you how far you've progressed between levels.

This was posted in reply to your own post instead of in reply to the person who you were responding to. With the way the boards works this will not notify them that you have responded and they will not have any way of knowng they need to come back here to see your response.

Once you hit that lvl zero honor you going to be matched up with the most toxic people you ever played with. The teams are going to be terrible just tempting you to have to tell them to just stop. I would suggest you disable all chats don't even type. It will literally take at lvl 0 2 weeks to a month just to get one step towards the next level. pretty much if you hit zero just kiss the account goodbye the way they have it set up
