Hopefully people can agree that its sometimes very frustrating to get paired with players that have just started playing ranked. For some reason even a seasoned G5 ADC main like myself (lv150+) can still get paired with players that are lvl30ish and have just finished their promos.
You cant get mad at them after the fact but I feel like there needs more work in matching people with similar skillsets. Maybe a lvl average of somesort, i dont know. What do you guys think?
FOR JUSTICE3 votesI mean, increasing the level cap wont stop you from being paired with them. Matchmaking doesnt take into account levels.
So its like, we increase the ranked cap to 40, but now your being paired with level 40 people who have never played ranked. Essentially we're back to square one.
DabDog2 votesi mean level doesnt equal skill or power. but ranking shows skill. so i mean if they are gold level 30s why couldnt they be with you? I'm level 49 and im plat 5 almost. but your what 100 levels over me? So Level =/=Skill. also people can buy XP Win/Day boosts go into bot games and grind out quick matches to grind levels. (which people actually sometimes do. if you look at the highest level people they have a lot of bot games normally)
5h4Dovv1 votesLevel reflect game count, not skill. Riot should add more parameters to handle MMR rather than just win/loss streaks, but level should never be a deciding factor. Also, smurfs.
yeulx1 votesdont forget the level cap was lvl 30 and we where all level 30. riot made us be able to level up so we could get rewards so they could do away with IP... ive been gold since s3 and im only lvl 103 104...i personally choose not to grind out hundreds of games to get to ungodly levels of levels.. let alone i own every single champion in the game so things like leveling for blue essence is meaningless... its ok the way it is.... now if you getting people who just finnish their pomos... thats how ranked has always worked Depending on your rank... Bronze silver and gold new account promo players will always play with these players as riot said to give them a fair chance to not be placed directly into something like bronze 5 never able to climb or improve
