Lets see where to start, Mages are useless unless played in the jg or supp, If you have more crit based champs on the other team you lose, straight up, Positioning no longer matters, Micro decisions no longer matter, its a constant brawl and mid lane is a fucking joke now. Tank meta was 100x better than this fucking shit because literally everything gets one shot, tanks get 3 shot. The adc buffs are useless when yasuo can literally 1v5 your entire team in 7 autos. WELCOME TO THE LEAGUE OF CRIT. ffs riot get your shit together, this game or "meta-shift" as you like to call it wasnt about balancing the game because everything is literally faceroll right now.

anyone else have this shit issue?

EDIT: And oh boy how did i forget that games are decided in the first 7 minutes making late game champs completely worthless 8/10 times when picked. And lets not forget that the enemy team when ahead now gets even stronger minions as if comebacks werent hard enough already unless played properly, now there is no chance to turn a game around if your team is down by more than like 3k gold. I know things are always shakey in preseason but this is a catastrophe. And these paper thin towers are a joke and make it almost impossible to back when playing against someone who has sustain in lane..

Being a mage main - I actually STILL like this pre-season and it's ideas. The balancing however was executed terribly. Mages are useless, crit is thrown into everything now, middle lane is scary as hell (especially if you're AP mid), and it seems everything is aimed towards AD champions, Rito sends their regards AP mains.

That's what I been for years now. LoL is a far more balanced game when tanks are strong, because they can keep everyone else in check.

A lot of strategy is thrown out of the window if tanks can't survive for more than 3-4 seconds.

I agree. This update alone has created an entirely new game. The forced mastery allocation is bull. Now you can only tank so hard. Thus they new Crit meta is impossible to defend against.

Thats because everyone is playing squishies right now becasue they want to test things. Then people will start playing assassins to rek all the squishes, then we get cc tanks back to rek the assassins and we have our old meta back with new items and more interesting adcs.

BUT WAIT THERES MORE! for a limited time because mages are useless as shit we will also take away mana potions because... you know we wouldn't want them only slightly fucked, we want them COMPLETELY fucked. I would love to see the brilliant thinking behind that. And no making a potion 3+ levels later give you a spec of mana does NOT make up for it by a long shot!

You know what, next time you think you're helping mages by doing this shit just make a buff called "graves surprise" that summons a shotgun to shoot them in the head right as the game starts.

speaking as a late game tank jungler this patch blows my game out of the water. one matches don't last long enough to even hit late game, two when it does you still die fast. I'm sorry I liked my regular 45 min to hour long game in pvp of coming back from behind.

People were complaining about RNG in league so they made crit non RNG as you can easily get 100% so it's not random :)

If mages are so bad, play an all AD comp against competent players. I dare you.

Had a normal where a Darius could take off 50 of mah armor at max cleave stacks. Too bad I still had 140+ left. In the current state (playing someone like Sona) the main reason I have issues with ad players in general is cause I usually have to use 2 item slots to deal with just their midlaner.

The dmg variety by itself makes mages an essential part of teams, not to mention that I, personally, love to play them.

Riot has had 2 days to collect data on their changes. You say it yourself, preseason is always shakey. Why are you so angry at them? If people continue to post like you do to much larger numbers, Riot will stop making changes based on the fear of backlash from their player base.

Take a second to chill and realize that this is preseason. Simply say, "Riot I think this could take a look at because of A. and B. and C. and ... Thanks for listening and attempting to inject new life into the game."

Stop berating them. They are people like you and me. They are just working a job and providing a service.
