So I hit level 30 around 4-5 weeks ago and for a while I was skeptical about playing ranked... So I finally decided to do my 10 placement games to see where I get placed. To be completely honest I expected to get placed in Bronze 3 or 4 as this is my first time really playing ranked. I went 5/5 which I was pretty happy with and when I finished my last game I was placed in Siver 5! I am pretty worried about playing in Silver... Should I be?

RamRanchDressing1 votesIn my opinion, Silver is a worse elo to be in than Bronze in terms of player experience, especially low silver. Once you get to Silver II the worst is generally behind you.
There are lots of players in Silver V that are basically Bronze with slightly better mechanics. Same thing for Gold V. And Plat V.
