Ok, seriously, how the hell does series matchmaking work

So this is probably my 9th series to get into s3. I know that they are supposed to have you carry yourself out etc etc. but every single one of my teams has been horrible. I know I probably sound like one of those noobs that says that whenever they can't win. But, its true. Do i intentionally get matched with weaker players in my series? Like I have absolutely no problem getting to my series, my teams are always decent at least, but as soon as I get there, I'll have maybe 1 good game and the rest are just unwinnable. This game for instance, I know my cs was pretty bad but I mean I don't know what else I could have done. Riven gave yasuo 4 kills in 5 minutes. then bot lane was 0-6 by 8 minutes. I just want to know how the matchmaking system works because honestly I am absolutely tired of this.

Riot pits you against more difficult match-ups and also sticks you with incredibly bad players.

I cant tell you how many times games are just completely one-sided. Look at my last game. Veig was just .. wow. WOW. ww (btw I never get a good ww, like never. NEVER. Never do i get a good ww) terrible 1/7 or something. Ashe 2/8. How do I get .. ALLLL the bad players? How?

Again, btw, all my ww's just do the same freaking thing.. "euhh im WW idiot! I can't gank until 6" If you can't gank until you are level 6... Do not jungle. Please. Do not jungle. If you think ww can only gank at lv 6, stop, put down the ww, and choose a useful champ like udyr.

I'll even defend the notion that ww can't gank until 6, sure. Not that I truly believe that but lets just say you're absolutely right.... Don't pick him. Don't pick a jungler who can't jungle. Jungling involves ganking. You have to be able to assist your team.

Honestly I think that most players who pick ww are just either not good or just really new to the game so they think its safer to play ww since you "can't gank" until he's lv 6. lol

works the same as in any other ranked game. your team didn't even do that badly.

I don't think matchmaking changes between your regular matches and your promos, but that it seems that way because climbing up raises your MMR and therefore inevitably pits you against higher MMR (and usually higher rank) opponents if you're climbing at a good pace.

You contributed to the loss too. Your gameplay aside, I see no reason for buying a Last Whisper like you did. You had Teleport, why werent you winning lane and then going to bot to gank/take dragon since they were behind and needed help. Theres ALWAYS more to do.
