VGU's should take priority over new champions.
As you all know it is now 2020, and it's a new decade for league. With all the new champions coming out some people seem to forget about our ancient buddies from times-past
to name a few. Champions like these need a lot of love because really they are not that fun to play or to play against. They have really strait-forward and boring kits, not to say that a strait-forward kit is a bad thing, there isn't much in the way of actual gameplay. Take for example the release of Sanguine Blade, it made nocturne into an absolute 1v1 machine and there wasn't really much to do about it. He was even meta in mid and top lane for a while. I know it has to do with the item and not the champion but still, when you have a champion with a really basic kit one item change or one item added can make them super unhealthy for the game (as well as item removal or nerf
). What I'm getting at is that kits that used to work in older seasons or older versions of the game just don't fit in with the game 6-9 years later. I think there should be a base line standard of champions that they reach first, THEN, add new champions. Like how the released an updated map. Just my thoughts, I would love to know what other people think on Riot's mainly new champion oriented approach this year.
