VGU's should take priority over new champions.

As you all know it is now 2020, and it's a new decade for league. With all the new champions coming out some people seem to forget about our ancient buddies from times-past DrMundo Nocturne Malphite Amumu to name a few. Champions like these need a lot of love because really they are not that fun to play or to play against. They have really strait-forward and boring kits, not to say that a strait-forward kit is a bad thing, there isn't much in the way of actual gameplay. Take for example the release of Sanguine Blade, it made nocturne into an absolute 1v1 machine and there wasn't really much to do about it. He was even meta in mid and top lane for a while. I know it has to do with the item and not the champion but still, when you have a champion with a really basic kit one item change or one item added can make them super unhealthy for the game (as well as item removal or nerf Tryndamere item 3161 ). What I'm getting at is that kits that used to work in older seasons or older versions of the game just don't fit in with the game 6-9 years later. I think there should be a base line standard of champions that they reach first, THEN, add new champions. Like how the released an updated map. Just my thoughts, I would love to know what other people think on Riot's mainly new champion oriented approach this year.

They should at least do VU reworks like Ezreal and Morgana’s. Some old champs like Riven and Vladimir whose kits work well in todays day and age should get a model update.

They should be doing twice the amount they are doing in mini-VGU like they are doing with new champions. 5 champion releases in 6 months is ridiculous for the amount of older champions that need large scale VGU and mini-VGU. Riot cars more about to bottom line.

there are some champions that have a skin that makes them look way better, which is a show that their base skin isnt doing them justice more than the quality of the skin, spirit guardian udyr is the most obvious example, but compare mecha cho gath with base, even pool party mundo with base

People still don't even know Corki is a Yordle.

i dunno their reworks have been pretty trash lately. If you mean visuals only than fine but gameplay i would prolly wait until they get better at doing reworks.

If riot doesn't have a good idea to rework a champ on, I don't think they should do the reworks. It's possible some champs haven't gotten reworked because riot just hasn't gotten any good ideas to go forward with on them.

The OP mentioned 3 junglers. Let's be honest, riot keeps changing the jungle so much each season it's hard to give those champs a rework just because their kits might be useless next season. Some of them riot probably can't rework to keep their identity just because the current jungle would be terrible on the champs. Take mundo, he's a power farmer. If riot reworked him now he'd be completely irrelevant as a jungler just because he's not meta for this season's jungle. Riot should really avoid reworking any jungler who can't constantly gank just because that's what this season needs.
