Ranking in the new season

So, first off, I will say this. YA DAMN RIGHT I'M MAD

Last season, right at the end, I made gold 5. I'm pretty sure I still have the screenshot somewhere, too. This pre-season, I was pleased to hear that I could potentially keep that, as the placement matches would take into account where I was last season more than it did previously.

Recently, I have finished my placement matches. I was placed with many people who were feeding, trolling, or extremely toxic.

Out of my placement matches, I won 3 out of the seven. I was fully expecting to go to a low silver league. No system is perfect, after all, but I hoped that my efforts could get me back up to where I have felt has had the most healthy caliber of player I have seen so far. After all, I have been down as low as bronze 4, or 200 ELO in the old system for those who remember it.

I got bronze 2. What the fuck. Seriously. It took me forever to get out of bronze, let alone silver. What is this bullshit?

I can't be the only one who got placed so low in comparison to where they were, can I?

Man, I know that everyone who gets really up there thinks that everything below them is shitty, but really, I would kill to be in SILVER right now. I honestly think this is bad for the game if people can get shot down 2 classes by getting bad players.

It's actually very healthy for the game , people who you'll play with will eventually learn something from you . And maybe you'll also learn that some players in lower divisions are not as bad as you thought . It's all about learning . You can have a great game in Bronze 2 and also a great game in Gold 2 , since it's solo queue you'll barely see any differance .

If you're gold 5 player you'll get there again , just focus on YOUR gameplay in lower divisions and ignore your team .
