Please Don't Reimpliment the Jungle XP Penalty

I saw in Meddler's 6/14 Gameplay Thoughts that Riot was thinking about reintroducing the overlevelled xp penalty that was removed in 8.10, but I have to ask that we avoid this if at all possible. When the jungle "rework" was released on 8.10 the only silver lining was the removal of this penalty.

While I hated to see lane influence for the role decrease on 8.10, I do think that there was very little opportunity cost to ganking, which has been improved. In fact I think that leads in the jungle feel more impactful now then on 8.9. I remember watching Meteos play when 8.10 dropped and he concluded that it was nearly impossible to come back in XP when down in the jungle. It actually feels like stealing a camp or out rotating the enemy jungler nets a value.

I understand that gold funneling is an issue, but I think the role has seen enough recent nerfs. As a jungler, my lane influence is already decreased, please dont take away my ability to maintain a lead on the enemy jungler.

The thing is the jungler isn't deciding if he wins his matchup now. It is the jungler with the better laners that come help him. So as a losing jungler you get fucked by your laners and don't have any chance to recover right now.
