Playing Nasus Early Game
What are your thoughts on the best way to start Nasus early game. I have seen various guides indicating all different things, from

depending on the situation. I have had various success with each of the options, but what is your opinion as to the best for ad and ap.
(Ex. I played a poppy top last game and bought cloth and health pots with 1 mana pot. I was doing fine until she dashed to me and killed me after some decent harass. This was mostly my fault in terms of positioning and decision making, but do you have any item or strategy suggestions to avoid stronger early game champs without OOMing or dying in lane?)
