Cho'Gath prefer build

So what are the popular builds out there for Cho? After the buff to the CD on his ultimate he seems rather strong (both mid and top, but top pref).

I Typically I will start Doran's Ring plus 2 pots and try to stay in lane until I get my 1200g for a . If I end up short i will usually pick up another and a . Trying to finish as soon as I can.

I typically like to rush Frozen Heart after I get my Rod... but if going against an AP top I like my chances and try to go more of an AP route.

What do you guys like to do?

Full tank. He does plenty of damage, but you haven't played Cho until you get a six-stack, six item Chozilla game and drape your huge hitbox over your entire team.

My last game with Cho'Gath (vs Jax top), I started with item 1028 + 2 pots, and rushed to item 3010 and eventually item 3027 . After that I went for item 3025 . The game was a stomp, so I wasn't able to build more than that. I was trying to go Zhonya's after that. I usually try to go AP as much as I can. After Zhonya's, I probably would have gone for item 3001 .

item 3027 > item 3110 > item 3025 > item 3151 > item 3102 item 3111

Try it, you will not be disappointed. You can substitute item 3027 for a item 3115 for even more slow + liandry procs

Against full AD: Swap Locket for item 3401 and Banshee's for item 3075 .

If the team needs more damage: Build item 3151 somewhere. Since Frozen Heart counts as a slow for the purpose of that item, it works surprisingly well, with your spike applying the burn to multiple targets.

In lane, I guess you could take 10% CdR from runes and masteries and swap the jungle item for a Rod of Ages.

Thanks for the ideas guys! Haven't tried item 3025 on Cho yet... or item 3151 that much either really.

Basically which ever of item 1 you didn't get earlier.
Heavy bruiser, pretty much dominate lane with vorpal spikes, if the jungle wants to gank, pull back and try to hit both with Q, W. After six, build feast stacks as fast as possible, then push lane til you take the first tower and can roam for team fights.
