#Nerf Veigar 2015

Okay, so a lot of people probably haven't noticed how broken Veigar is considering how underplayed of a champion he is, but he is starting to become more popular and I feel like this deserves to be taken into some consideration. First off, his Q is an infinite stacking ability that is set for his total AP output. That by far, is extremely broken when he goes into 40-50+ minute games. Unlike other infinite stackers (Thresh, Nasus, etc.), his is the only one that actually affects his base stats in general. I feel that it should only affect his Q, that way he isn't literally a champion that can be used as a win all games kind of guy. Secondary, I feel that his E is far too overpowered. Seriously, fully maxed out, that thing keeps foes completely useless for 2.5 seconds. Sure, you might argue with me that it has the same effect as Morgana's Q, but that is not the case. Morgana's Q only affects a single target, and it only roots them, while Veigar's E can affect the whole enemy team and make them unable to do anything but scream and try to not break their desktops/laptops. His E should be turned into a root, not a stun, which I feel is all that would be needed. I just feel that he is an extremely broken champion in general, and these changes wouldn't be too much of a nerf when it comes to him dueling other champions.

if its not broke dont fix it see a veig get merc banshees an a GA or something of tht mix or just play ad champs

So, you feel that taking away hundreds of AP from his Q and R, as well as turning a stun into a root, wouldn't be a major nerf. That's one view of it. Here's mine: it would instantly make him the single worst champion in the game, by a large measure. The stacking one in particular isn't acceptable. You can't just remove hundreds of damage from both a basic ability and an ultimate without it being a major nerf, in any situation.

The infinite stacking actually isn't as big a deal as people make it. It matter if a game gets to 50-55+ minutes, but otherwise, he is still heavily limited by an enemy's defensive stats. A simple Banshee's Veil, QSS or Miakel's can make his job extremely hard in a standard late-game scenario. It takes a long time for the AP stacking to overcome the weaknesses that people can itemize against.

Rework.

But that is when Riot gets down the rework list to him. As far as those go, he's pretty low priority.

For sure doesnt need a nerf. When you have champs like Akali, fizz, and Zed playing mid with way too much power it ruins the game. I would love to see champs like Viegar become popular and strong, more fun than facing the same op champs in almost every game all year..

He needs a nerf or just a rework. His E is a game decider, especially around baron or dragon. Even if behind he is an E machine that will get strong by farming. not only this but his Ult uses his ap and YOUR ap. Hes broken but just rarely played. Fix him

Here's my opinion. He is broken right now (assist ap cough). Here are a list of possible answers that everyone, Veigar mains and Veigar haters alike, can agree with:

{make E's take more time to appeared.} I feel with the delay it has now it's just fine. players can react to it and play against it (stay in and blink out or try to escape, your choice). Maybe a little longer would help. But back when it had no delay... remember those days? Ya, I thinks it fine where it is and players just need to be smart or save there flash.
{make E's stun shorter}. I recommend a flat stun at all ranks. somewhere in the middle ground of what it has now, 2 sec should be fine. also make the cost go down from a ridiculously high amount. Example: [120/110/100/90/80 mana] Veigar will have to manage mana for escapes and this will leave him vulnerable early game. this way I can put points into W earlier to actually harass my lane opponent. (I do understand that the mana scale in the same as his ult, did it on purpose, but just an example.)
{ASSIST ABILITY POWER... PLEZ!} This is the ONE change that broke the crap out of him and needs to be reconciled. This needs to be NERFED ASAP! This is why this one is #0. one (1) AP is fine for assists, not the whole five. This and his stun together make farming champions EZ! "Hey team! You like KDA, I like AP, I stun them, you kill them... agreed?"
{less damage for Q.} Make that Veigar work for his ap. I'm not talking about the ratio damage. Remove almost all of the skill's base damage completely. Example: [20/40/60/80/100 (+ 65% AP)]
{make Veigar channel his stun wall.} this would introduce some counter play to the stun wall if you can hard cc his butt when he tries to cast it on your team in a fight. he would lose the ability and be in a pickle at the same time. this would also force this tiny mage of evil to hide behind his teammates, you know, LIKE ALL MAGES DO!

That's it, that's all I can think of at the moment. The way I see it, he's a infinite stacking champ that does it too well because of assist farming and stun wall usage for assist farming. It sucks to be touched by a Veigar and killed by the jungler and realize your feeding twice as hard as usual. I recommend trying out these nerfs RIOT, but please not all at once. He needs to be guided to the right direction, not beat down with a nurf ult. I love Veigar for his infinite possibilities, but he becomes a monster too fast and he needs something to get him out of the banned list so that I can play him again. #save Veigar (note: all just opinions, don't hate it, add to it. Also, I have no idea what riot's plans for Veigar are at the moment. Just writing this out of fear... the communities comments I've heard.)
