Question about supports and creeps

So yea i am a noob who's not even lv 30. after watching streams of good lol players ive raised a question regarding supports:

so i saw that the support last hitted some creeps but the adc still got the full amount of gold. if thats the keys, why dont the support dont last hit everytime? wouldnt it push the lane faster?

To do that they either need to be bound to a Kalista or have a item 3302 charge available. Those passives are why the AD got the gold.
