Nasus vs new Gangplank

Any peticular reason nasus can stack everything in the game excepts nexus, inhibitors, and gangplank's barrels?

You get the point.

It's not even like its free, since you have to enter into detonation range to whack them. It creates this interesting gameplay where both champions are trying to last hit it, which was the entire point of the ability in the first place, wasnt it? Gangplank even has the range advantage...
