Lesson number 1: Don't play continuous ranked.

You may be tilted, even if you don't realize it.

Play normals! Normals are where you work on things. As soon as you dropped a rank, you should have stopped and tried to improve your game play.

Learn 2 Roles, and 2 roles only! Down the road sure, you can learn others. To go with that, learn 3-4 champions in each of those roles. Hone down on your champion pole, and your primary roles.

what if playing norms isnt an option? Match making is so poor right now it seems every game im matched against low golds and mid to high silvers while my team is mostly bronze. Even if my norm mmr was that high how can u learn anything when every game is a total butt fucking by every lane and game is over by 10 min in. I am actually finding that ranked at least is giving me ppl that are close to my skill level. I can at least not die repeatedly but that is about all im getting lately from norms.

People learn best when they are ahead, they learn when to take risks, when to try to contest objectives, buffs.

Its easy when you stomp every game, but you need to lose if you want to improve, if you get what I am saying.

Dominate the lane with agressive champions and push your lead onto other lanes, or splitpush your lane

Pick Tryndamere and never leave top. Easiest way to win in low elo.

Like pexagon said, pick 2 roles and stick with them for now. Then I would say pick 2 champs 3 max in those two roles and only play them. Then the goal is to dominate the lane and push your lead onto other lanes. This might be hard at first but once you get better it gets easier to do. And a lot of times this is the easiest way to get out of bronze since the games are pretty scattered to start with.

If you play mid Annie is a pretty easy champ to learn and popular pick. Jungle XinZhao is pretty safe at low elo. Ummm there are a lot of champions so you have to figure out who you comfortable with. But really just learn 2-3 really well in your two main roles and then spam those champions.

I've gone from Bronze 5 - Gold 3 so far; playing nothing but support (85% win rate over last 30 ranked games). Don't under estimate support players.

My advice is focusing on a three pick champion pool and stick to one position. Your more likely to know every single ability and how to deal with it belonging to that role. For the lower Elo's is picking a champion with strong AoE and team fight presence.

If your a support player main; try picking up an AP support (Brand, Zyra, Annie). Your most likely going to get a terrible ADC 2/3 out of your games in Bronze, but you can counter that with carry potential late game to make up for them. The moment you notice your ADC is sub-par - build full AP and proceed to nuke there entire team in team fights. It will win you games rather then relying on someone else in early ELO.
