Treeofwar1 votesmmr does not mean rank plain and simple. There was a challenger player who dodge every game so that his rank went down but his mmr stayed the same so he was bronze playing with diamonds. The game puts people with people whos mmr is the same or they balance it out
Zarros1 votesFlex pick has brand new mmr. So it's different than your solo/duo/dynamic queue mmr from last season. So everyone starts at 1250 mmr, whether theyre challenger or bronze. It'll even out, but op.gg and the like will probably take a while to implement a system to track mmr of flex queue/rank and put that at priority when you queue for that gamemode.
