Can we stop with RNG?

There are a few champions in league of legends that incorporate RNG mechanics into their kit. Generally speaking, they're not fun to play with or against.

RNG is inherently unhealthy for champions because it can create excessive feast or famine depending on how RNG decides to roll. Fiora, for instance, can easily get first blood if the first couple of marks that appear are facing towards her for easy procs. Zyra can be a total terror in lane if her seeds spawn in relevant positions or can be a wimpy mess if her seeds are all clustered uselessly around her tower.

I'd like to see the RNG mechanics removed in favor of more static mechanics that are within the players control. As an example, Gnar's form shift. It's easy to plan around and players know when it's going to happen, what causes it to happen, and are in total control while it's happening. Imagine if, while playing Gnar, when he was transformed into his tank form he took all control from the player and mindlessly attacked anything nearby. This wouldn't be very fun, would it?

This is the problem of RNG. Even beneficial RNG isn't that fun. Twisted Fate, for example, can get up to 6 bonus gold per minion kill. What if the TF you're laning against gets super lucky and gets a ton of free gold right out of the gate and easily out-builds you? That might be fun for him but I'm sure it's not fun for you. I'd like it if all the mechanics of League were clear, easy to understand, and were under direct player control and not just able to be slightly influenced.

I fully agree.

But what i don't understand is, how can one complain about fioras RNG, which is one of the least impactfull ones, but loose not one word on CRIT, which is the most common and one of the most influencal RNGs in the game...

Twisted Date's passive tends to favor higher values anyway. He typically gets a lot of gold provided he farms well enough. The only way RNG would screw anyone here would be if his rolls were consistently crap rolls. Plus, his advantage is his income. Once everyone has full builds and enough gold to buy other potions, that's it. His passive is useless from that point on.

Wait, Crit is the real evil! But actually, it’s a disgusting stat that should just be replaced by a flat attack damage increase rather than a damage increase chance. I’d rather 50% crit make my autos do 1.5x damage rather than 2x damage half the time.

Zyra's Seeds are easy to manipulate they spawn were She is walking toward 80% of the time.

Wait so you're saying that Zyra's plants have been turned into an RNG auto spawn bullshit mechanic instead of being an ability like they used to be? What the fuck?

Zyra should indeed have full control over her seeds again.

With that out of the way, there are a couple things that need to be addressed. First, the vitals Fiora creates are not random. They rotate between appearing on either top or right and either bottom or left. Also, even though it's not related to the topic of RNG, if you get a vital that isn't in your favor, you can walk out of range of Fiora to clear it and get a favorable vital. Second, while TF's innate is RNG, the random aspect has very little impact. You're never going to lose or win because he got lucky or unlucky with his die rolls.
