Should turrets do more damage? Poll included

As of the last few months I've been noticing and a lot of others have been saying the same thing. Turrets just don't do enough damage. A mid mage shouldn't be able to tank 5 shots and live to see the day. A turret should be something that is feared. That you are going to be risking you life if your in there too long. It seems to me that any champ with 1/2 health can lollygag in there tank turret shots and not even worry.

I think they should be feared as a scary obstacle and I agree they should do more damage. If your not in and out to get a kill say goodbye jabroni hope it was worth.

(Atleast the increase amplification damage on consecutive hits so its harder for tanks to tank turrets)

If not more damage, then at least make them smarter.

If you get killed by a burst, they won't even take a single shot if there's minions nearby.

rather than the first turret I think the inhib and nexus turrets should deal more damage.... if you're a tank you can tank them for ever

I say yes. Turrets are strong for the first 10 minutes, but they don't scale well ENOUGH into the late game.

The vagueness of this statement alone demonstrates that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and are vaguely QQing because you got dove after fucking up in lane. Not warding is a possibility.

Personally, i'd like to see ALL turrets get the laser that the nexus turrets used to have. And yeah, a damage increase would be nice too.

Pretty much since preseaons 6, even supports can dive without concern. Yeah they need buffs.

just played a game, lucian was able to tank 6 turret shots from full health and had 25% health left at level 14. thats dumb.

I'd like to see 2 things done with towers. First I'd like them to do more damage in the early game, late game dives are fine but early game it should take more than just 1 champ and a minion wave. Second I'd like them to make it so that if a champion is targeted by a turret, then the turret is guaranteed 1 shot at them. This is to help those that are forced under tower early so that they can farm more safely without getting harassed.

I'd like to see it increased against champions, but if you increase damage to minions too it's going to make last-hitting under tower a mess.

Absolutely.

I thought they had been nerfed. I asked someone cause he literally dove with no more than 200 HP at lvl 5 and killed someone lol and flashed away.

Was so confused.

I don't think they need a damage increase as far as AD. I do think they need an attack speed increase. Maybe a ramping one?

I actually wish each tier of turret would be different from one another.

Nexus turrets should get S6's Inhib turret laser.

Inhib Turrets should be the ones to attack really slow but to hit really hard. (that way sieging at inhib turrets doesn't take an hour.)

Inner Turrets should attack really rapidly with high missile speed, (like URF Ezreal Q speed.)

Outer Turrets should be the same, except they should ramp up much harder.

Personally, i don't think they should. This is the more unpopular opinion but i personally agree with rito that turrets should mainly be there to defend you through the very early stages of the game. I don't think turrets should be able to 3 shot a champion after like level 5 or 6, and if teams are good enough to jungle aggro then well what can you do?

well, tanks should be able to tank turrets, but they really should at least threaten everyone else...right now you can just turretdive as an adc without a care in the world.

No. They should give them the TTT affect where they have 2.50 AS and have AD and armor the more champions attacking it. Maybe not the AD and armor but it should really have 2.50 AS.
