Last season I went 5/5 and got b5. Now i went 9/1 and got b5. I feel like a riot mod saw my last post then decided to manually drop my mmr to beyond shit to get a good laugh. But yah if i knew this was going to happen again I just would have leveled a new account and then do placements not any of this bs. So yah here are my games if you even care and if one of the riot mods see this could you magically move all my champions and skins to my other account since this one is beyond fucked? jk, I know RIot doesn't give a shit about any of their low elo player but still this shit is unacceptable. Thanks RIot for making me come back into b5 :D. Your genius ways of calculating mmr are extremely precise :).

You were bronze 4 last season. Your mmr doesn't completely reset. Going 9-1 against bronze 4 and bronze 5 players obviously isn't going to get you placed in anything higher than that.

You will never get placed in a higher rank than you were last season. The reason for this is the highest anyone can get placed is Platinum 1 when they finish their provisionals. This means all the diamond, master and challenger players get placed into Platinum. This forces all the platinum players into gold, all the gold players into silver and all the silver players into bronze. This means that people who finished bronze last year will most likely get placed in bronze 5 (since all the silver players are placed into bronze as well.)

It is common for people to be placed 5 divisions lower than where they finished (i.e. gold 5 to silver 5.) That's 500LP difference between where they ended last season and where they start the next season. For challenger players they lose over 1,000 LP between seasons. You only lost 100 LP so consider yourself lucky.

You getting bronze 5 was a guarantee. Your placements were only there to determine where in the bronze 5 spectrum you would start. Since you went 9-1 your MMR will be high for a bronze 5 which means that you will gain more LP for wins, allowing you to climb easier. If you deserve to climb then you'll get out of bronze 5 in less than 20 games.

Have fun climbing mate. On another note do you wanna duo with me? I main top lane and got placed in BRONZE 4. I've climbed to BE but a lose streak made me go all the way to B5. Finally clawed my way out of B5 and into my Promos for B3. Cept I failed the Promos and now am about to get demoted again.

Had a friend who went 10/0 in his placements and still got B5 :3
