More about the ranks system, what champs should i concentrate on getting to get my agame going, and anything u feel is valuable to me as someone with limited knowledge

Ranks work like this (or atelast at the moment) You will play 10 placement matches and it will place you in a specific division and tier. After that each game you win you will gain a certain amount of lp, and if you lose you will lose lp. When you hit in your division, you play a promo series, where you have to win 2 out of the 3 games to go onto the next division. Once you make your way to the last division in the tier, (bronze 1, silver 1, etc.) you then play a promo series which is best 3 out of 5, if you win you get promoted to the bottom of the next tier, (silver 5, gold 5, etc.)

Bronze gets an icon as an end of season rewards Silver gets an icon, border, and a border around your profile Gold+ gets a victorious skin, border, profile border, icon, and an invite icon. (might've forgotten some things)

As for champs to play, snowball champs work but just play what you're comfortable on.

Lastly, have fun and if anyones harassing you, mute them and report them at the end. You will 100% encounter some rude players in ranked but just try to have fun.
