So Does Riot Have a Balance Team?
I've been mulling this over for a while now but with the recent idiocy that was the Galio Q nuke it really makes me question whether Riot actually tests any of their changes. Like really though how can you miss an ability scaling to do 50-70% max hp, with base damage, as well as thunderlord's proc. On what a 5 second cooldown when maxed? Really like it wasn't even on PBE like this went live...like that's sad. From this we fully saw that Riot can't do 3rd grade multiplication using feasible amounts of achievable AP in a standard game. I won't get into specific champions though there are a host or problematic ones, but come on guys. Actually test things, talk to your community before changing things, use the PBE for what it was intended to be for and nip this sort of thing in the bud.
Like this blatant act of disregard, laziness, whatever the case may be does not bode well for the community's already low opinion of Riot's balance team. I'm not here to further the witch hunt but you guys really need to reflect on huge mistakes like these and learn from it. I'm already weary about the new season and seeing what's busted this week, but I hope you guys will at least attempt to test things out this time around as well as use simple math to see problem and exploit cases.
