Jungle Items Late Game

This is just a minor thing, but I was hoping that someone could tell me whether of not it's a good idea to replace your jungle item (if you are a jungler) when it gets into the late game and you have your 5 other main items. The way it seems to me is that these really don't offer anything after the 40~ minute mark, especially if you are ahead. For example, the ; early game the item is very useful, having a slow/speed boost and being a slightly stronger , but then late game its really just that. At levels 16-18, you should have as much cc as you need and especially considering that most of this time will be team fight oriented, you won't really be picking people off. Then there's the fact that is just a slightly stronger . If you still need the armor pen, it would better to just get a , , or and if you just want more AD, you can get something like , , etc. Finally, you retain the ability to smite jungle monsters (obviously) so its not putting you at any disadvantage for objectives. So anyway, is it better to swap late game or not? Thanks
