Dynamic Queue is a good improvement in my opinion. Remember when you would Solo up, and your role was decided based on where you were on the picking ladder? Usually if you weren't 1st or Second pick, you wouldn't get your preferred role. Now at least if you feed, you have to take some responsibility, because usually you get your lane and champion, and its not because you're a mid laner you got stuck in the ADC role. So why the hate on Dynamic Queue recently?

Flex Queue was added since 5v5 ranked is gone, and they wanted to add the option back for people to queue up with 3+ players.

Scruberz1 votesYes in form and function you are right but Dynamic queue was the season 6 ranked queue, which is now solo queue. So Dynamic queue was replaced by solo queue and Flex Queue was added to make up for the removal of Dynamic Queue.
So Dynamic queue does not exist anymore, as per my original point.

Dq was not special because of the role pick.

Dynamic Queue and Role Selection (New Champion Select) are not the same thing. They were two independent systems which were released at the same time.

Role selection/preference is due to the new Champion Select. While they were released at the same time, they are independent systems.
Role selection exists in Solo/Duo and Flex Queue too.
