Can Master Yi really be considered an assassin?

Out of every assassin in league of legends one stands out to me being kinda my Main go to in SoloQ but i feel his label as an assassin doesn't match the gameplay Master Yi Just doesn't have the kit to be an assassin

The list of assassins(Primary Role) so far are:

other assassins are (Champs Who have more assassin capability/Instant Burst than M.Yi): (yes i added lux for the luls but 1 snare late game could end your adc js) i would have added yasuo but his kit also doesnt scream assassin to me he also is in the same boat as yi

Now hear me out the reason i dont think yi is an assassin is because compared to these other guys he doesnt have: 1-shot combo. Stealth. An Escape. an engage. an execute (true damage isnt really that great either since anyone can grab conq these days and do the same and his E doesnt work of Conq)

Now you could argue "Oh he just Q's in and im dead" but no that was AP yi AP yi was an assassin this yi has to really run towards you with no safe gap closer other than his Q which he needs to use to dodge any an all cc that comes his way or he will just die before he reaches his target he has no stealth and one of his abilities (his only defensive one) makes him stationary yi has no escape once he is in a fight other than prob q'ing a target and running

Stealth champions if master yi q's a stealth champion as they stealth his q will keep him at his original location so targets like vayne kai'sa who are prime targets in a team fight just kite yi out

Zed can really W into a fight ult auto Q ur adc and W back out before you know where he was and pop her 9/10 you spot a master yi running into the teamfight Kayne can go thru walls and enter your body twitch may have weak stealth but im sure some of you have started a fight only to have him pop up behind you and murder you so i dont know maybe a rework or class change is an order for yi in the future because i just dont see him as that assassin he use to be esp since you need to build him a certain way to even deal real damage crit yi has potential but then he is just comparable to a fed melee adc a tryn that can die or a yasuo without the windwall if you can prove me wrong that something needs a change with yi then please do i wont bash your ideals im generally curious also Akali has true stealth you cant even be safe under your tower so thats also a thing
