Urgot in the pre-season

Since this is the beginning of the new season, a ton of changes have come out. It is nice to see a ton of work and love put in the various marksmen, but for me, the true questions line in Urgot's potential with these new items.

To those that did not notice, Urgot got a fairly unique change to his Ultimate where he would receive percent damage reduction instead of heightened MR and Armor stats. Weather this is buff or a nerf is up to interpretation, but there were some non-champ related changes that worried me a bit.

The first I wish to address is the lack of pure mana pots which could severely cripple the early game dominance that Urgot is so feared for. Added with no adjustment to his mana regen, I fear that Urgot would have to go back much more often to get his mana pool back, wasting precious seconds in lane. Plus his most crucial item , the manamune, has been given a slight increase in cost which could put Urgot even further behind.

A final thought that I had on Urgot's chances is the inclusion of the new, big boy on the block, the Rift Herald. The inclusion of this big purple beast comes with an unfortunate limitation where he takes reduced damage from ranged attacks. This could possibly cripple the chances at Top urgot staying viable now that you need speedy or more tanky top laners to help secure this new objective.

Since I possibly have gone on long enough, I pose a few questions to those that are more math savvy and possibly to riot itself.

Will there be later plans to compensate Urgot's lack of mana sustain?

Could the possibility of Mid lane Urgot making a comeback due to his decreased ability in the top lane?

Which of the new items would benefit him more?

I really appreciate the time to look this over and I hope to hear from y'all about the new possibilities of this crab can create in the new season.
