There was a tentative change for Prototype: Omnistone where you could ban a rune. What's the status?

For those not aware, this image on FF@20 gives context.

A while ago, specifically 13th of January, there were tentative changes for Omnistone where you could ban a rune at the start of the game. Sadly, this was the only bit of info we got about it. And that's a pity! I think Omnistone could actually have some potential, albeit mainly on Melee champions. Personal favourites for it are Shen and Taric. Banning a rune from this list could make Omnistone a bit more reliable.

If there's any information about it that we could receive, that would be great!
