When you ask for "best", you're asking for something completely objective, not an opinion. You can look at their performance numbers to find out who's best.

If you're looking for who's easiest to learn, who you should be playing for your level of play, who's most fun, etc., then it'd be a matter of opinion.

Thresh janna and nami if we are talking globally. If you wanna climb a certain elo however you would want others that don't rely on their ADC

Braum

But to climb elo easily just pick Nami and win lane with her absurdly strong trades on early.

Right now, Nami and thresh

they cover all the bases in what you might need for a support

I think Rakan, Tahm and Braum. They're all a bit too tanky to kill, but their niche abilities make them really good (TK devour, braum shield, Rakan's kit) and Rakan has really good engage, Braum has good counter engage, and tahm.... tahm still has devour

It all depends if you know your ADC. If your ADC is a random person and you dont know if they are good or bad, then you need to pick a high damage support so you can carry the game in the event your ADC is bad.

For example, if i pick Lulu and the ADC is bad, thats it, bot lane is lost.

my favourites:

Pyke Good engage and very skill expressive, once you've gotten a hang of him you can help your ADC win lane pretty easily, although you become a lot more team reliant late game when your damage becomes non-existent and your inability to build health starts to catch up to you.

Shen Even better engage, also pretty skill reliant, throughout all parts of the game you're pretty viable by maxing E>Q>W, your ult also makes you a great playmaker and any time you save an ally with it you'll usually get a compliment for it.
