Current Meta and Lissandra

Hello, I just reached enough IP to purchase another champion and was looking at Lissandra. I recall that she used to be popular and was played in the LCS a lot until she was nerfed. Is this correct? How is she as a champion at the moment? I like her kit and want to buy her but I'm not sure if she is any good anymore. Also, what is the current meta right now?

Idk. Someone on the forums complained about how freelo Lissandra was and they nerfed her. Can't remember who it was.
