What was wrong with assassins before lethality?
Were assassins really so weak they needed to add items that make squishy champs more squishy? That's their weakness in the first place...

Flat armorpen was way more broke than lethality because it was full value at level one rather than 18 so a rush youmuus would instagib squishies. Sadly riot overbuffed lethality itemization so its a problem now.
Actually Armor pen was even more snowbally lol
They said that lethality will be less snowbally than flat armor pen, that is until they made duskblade give 200 extra burst damage at level 10.
Assassins could actually fight against tanks that were behind them.
Literally nothing. Assassins were fine before the rework and then Riot disrupted what was an already fine class.
Yeah, they had to actually be patient, be mindful of vision, plan ahead, and wait for a proper time to engage the squishy like an actual assassin.
Now they can just walk up to you and press all the buttons at the same time and you die.
