Azir suffers from blind?

Recently, I was playing a game of araam and always understood that blind (the devil in disguise Teemo) prevented Azir's soldiers from dealing damage until the effect wore off. However, in this particular game I also had a Braum Braum on my team and noticed that whenever my soldiers attacked a target suffering from Braum's passive they were unable to provide stacks. Which implies that Azir's soldiers are not considered a basic attack yet they suffer from blind somehow? I was wondering if Riot has any plans to address this issue and either commit to Azir's soldiers as basic attacks and therefore able to activate Braum's passive or consider it a spellcast and remove the negative effects of blind? Personally I feel the former makes more sense as it is essentially an auto attack and simply needs to be altered to coincide with Braum's Passive.

Azir's soldiers are spells. Teemo's blind doesn't affect them.....at least I've never noticed.

iirc his soldiers to not proc on-hit effects.

Better question:

Which is more important - buffing Azir for the sake of consistency or leaving him as if since he's already in a good spot?

I mean, if his soldiers proc onhit effects, Azir can do 2 or 3 onhit effects per attack. What you're asking is for Azir to immediately proc Braum's passive simply because.

No I don't mean to instantly proc it, but at least provide a stack for the first hit every x seconds as is the case with some other abilities that can only trigger to either first target hit or etc.
