So far, I've played ranked and had an EXTREMELY toxic team in most of them, costing us the game. I have no idea if this will affect me getting into silver and what not... I've done good so far in ranked, and I have a duo partner, too. But you know, there's a TOXIC TEAM in almost all of them... Can I have some advice on how to deal with this and will this or will this not cause me to go bronze for the season?
The Griefer King1 votesdont talk back to them. worry about snowballing you and your duo partner. a single/duo carry can carry the whole team and carry you out of branze. placements were the worst. and tbh they dont really mean all that much just get them out of the way.

I went 8/2 in placements and got put directly into gold 4. Yes I got carried a couple of games, but I hardly -ever- lost mid, and in many of the games I either got 1st blood or just out farmed and destroyed the enemy laner.
As long as you aren't getting afk'ers every game, you can usually score 50% if you 1) buy wards 2) be aware of where the enemy jungler MIGHT be 3) destroy your lane opponent. 4) roam and get another lane fed who has a chance to have an influenceon the game after detroyign mid (e.g. if Top is doing ok and bot is chain feeding and toxic, get top fed then roam bot and win. If bot is holding on and top is massively toxic, roam bot and snowball them). 5) don't reply at ALL to toxicity. Regardless of how toxic people are (don't retaliate, just REPORT them after and say NOTHING--not ONE THING!), toxic players will STILL follow you around if you are doing well. it's human nature.
if you win lane every game and do this as much as possible, you should do no worse than 50%.
