Make 3v3 Great Again

Alright, so I know this isn't a common thing but I have to say that the 3v3 map and game mode are my favorite thing in LoL. My main issue is that, well, hardly anyone it. The wait time ends up being 15 minutes on average and that's only making less people play the map. I really wish Riot would have a little event or rework/update for this great but forgotten game mode. #Make3v3GreatAgain

The 3v3 map is a disaster. The concept, however, is amazing.

Lack of vision tools makes for intense surprise fights. Every bush can be your next death. It's really exciting.

I'm with ya. I love this game mode. #Make3v3GreatAgain

I only hear bad stuff about it and I never tried because of that. I am new - that may be part of the issue. Bad advertising for that mode.

Give it a shot in bots if you've never tried it! I really enjoy the smaller map and faster/more intense game play! It's a nice little break from Summoners Rift!

To the OP - I know it's not as fun as PvP, but if you're just dying to play on Twisted Treeline, you can play a bot game once in awhile if the wait is too long. Bot game wait time on Twisted is usually only a minute or two at most. Slower than rift, true, but you can still get into a game. =)

TT is currently a very unbalanced and frustrating game mode. All of the problems SR faces are multiplied tenfold on 3v3, since its basically a faster, more snowbally version of SR. Teamwork is paramount in order to win, which can make grouping with randoms incredibly frustrating.

Carrying on 3v3 is harder since split-pushing is so easily countered, and the team that falls behind (which is incredibly easy in the first 5-10 minutes of the game) has no options other than to turtle at their base and hope the enemy team makes a mistake. Also, support comps can only be countered by other support comps, which is mostly unlikely when queuing up solo. Most teams will always want to surrender in the first 10-15 minutes, regardless of either team composition. As soon as things go bad, most players will just give up, and most of the time they're going to be on your team (again, unless you're playing with people you know).

You pretty much have to play with friends in order to enjoy 3v3. The only reason I still occasionally play it is because I'm a bit of a masochist and there's nothing else to play outside of the RGM. However, if a Crystal Scar map became permanent then I would leave 3v3 in a heartbeat.
