Karthus Q rework

Karthus first of all is as slow as someone who got old nasus slowed, Not a joke he can't chase people. What makes his slowness worse is his Q's unbearable amount of time it takes to go off I could place a Q down leave lane, go top lane cross down to bot lane after taking drag alone(probly not possible) then gank bot use a ult then go back to lane and it would still be there. I mained karthus for my first 3 months of league(it was bot lane but everyone else was stupid in bot lane so I won a lot) in this time I realized, wow people are dumb, but also I CCAN'T HIT MY Q, for the first 3 months of league karth was good but after that I got into matches of people that had played the game enough to know what my q does, it became impossible to land my q to the point I switched to kog'maw and I never looked back until now, I treid him again. I could land my Q but it had to be when they weren't paying attention. In conclusion why can't it be on less of a timer or no timer at all, like pretty much every other champions abilities.

It takes practice to play him. He's harder than he looks

Play him mid and use Q to safe farm. Use ult to to gank. I dunno if he still is, he used to be consider a hyper carry AP. Late game his dmg is outrageous. He isn't meant to be easy early game. Easiest way to play him is to sit back and relax and wait for a ganks and his wall is strong. You ever played against a good Karthus? You'll notice 1 thing: He's so terribly boring to lane against.
